On October 19, 2023, Cats Protection Warrington Adoption Center in Haywards Heath, United Kingdom, posted one of the hundreds of pets they are looking for a home on their Facebook page.

Nanny McPhee's description was simple: a black and white Creole cat with a tan spot on her face. The images were moving, however, she highlighted that she was not a normal individual, but rather a cat with two noses.

"She was thought to have a big nose, but it turns out she actually has two noses!" the shelter commented, noting that Nanny McPhee, like her movie double, is a kind nanny who loves cuddles and hugs.

 

The center's experts explained that the cat with two noses had this appearance due to a rare congenital anomaly that, fortunately, had no harmful effects on her health.

 

People went crazy when they met the little 4-year-old animal, saying they hoped it would soon find a home, that it had unique features and that they had never heard of such a congenital anomaly in felines.

"I need this cat with two noses in my life!" said one Facebook user.

The viralization of the case was positive for Nanny McPhee, because in a matter of days she managed to be adopted.
