Apple plans to announce new versions of its po[CENSORED]r Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad accessories for Mac at its Scary Fast event on October 30 , according to a report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman . The most notable novelty will be that these accessories will come equipped with USB Type C ports instead of Lightning for charging.These accessories will likely be introduced alongside an update to the 24-inch iMac with an M3 chip, also expected at the event. Although it's not yet clear if these accessories will have any significant changes to their design, as their appearance has largely remained the same since their last major update in October 2015. Still, over the years, there have been some Minor revisions, such as the use of braided cables and additional color options that are only available with the 24-inch iMac.

One of the least liked aspects of the Magic Mouse to date has been the location of the Lightning port on the bottom of the mouse - it has even been a source of ridicule in the Apple community for years, since it prevents the use of the mouse while charging. With the migration to USB ports in the new version, hopefully this is something that will change so that the functionality of the accessory is the best possible at all times.It is important to mention that the four new iPhone 15 models come equipped with USB Type C ports instead of Lightning.
