Which is a good thing over all not just for his personal gains but for the server aswell. By personal gains i mean a (Tag of admin). Which holds a value to all especially smooth running of the server. But as it seems that mostly people are complaining in the forum and separately for the new admins, and somehow we have to defend our Admin community by saying he is new to the team. Over all it tarnishes the value of becoming an admin in the server. So i want to leave a suggestion. A Probation period of an admin in that time he will be considered admin but be asked to go thoroughly through the rules. etc. A random question being asked while playing, Looking at his attitude, or any sortta activity that makes us all look guilty should prohibit him as being an admin. Holding a great deal for all the players to become admin and only those serious about this job should get access to it. That's a really good idea I think. This will encourage the new admins to learn and memorize more for their job. This will also tell us whether someone really wants to do this work or not. kukata Posted February 24, 2023 Share Posted February 24, 2023 We already do this. At least some of the Managers take the time to teach and monitor Admins. For example when i Accept an Admin Request from someone i take the resopsibilty to teach him some basic stuff and if he needs help with anything else. We also have this topic on the Forum wich is really helpful for Begginer Admins and even Admins with some experience--> https://csblackdevil.com/forums/topic/425365-a-guide-for-new-admins/ , also we have the Tutorials section: https://csblackdevil.com/forums/forum/16207-tutorials/ , wich shows and guides how to use and do commands/record demos/check ips and etc.. This is great and all but in the end it all comes down to that individual Admin(NEW) if he is willing to learn or not, if the Admin is not willing to learn then you can teach him for eternity and still get no results. As for the Probation Period im Pro for that suggestion. Which in present time is necessary for all the New Admins who are willing to join. @to cut Just like you do guide them but they still aren't serious about the job. Likewise not many know that everything is available in the Forum or they are not serious about looking up and exploring the Forum. Why is it necessary? It is because only the serious ones will apply. Who are willing to be part of the team and its image most importantly. Secondly the serious ones will learn and explore more about being an admin. Being a player its easy to be sitting idol without being responsible. But as an admin you gotta cover every aspect of the gameplay be it interaction or managing the server. The Hype of becoming an admin should be more than just a mere tag. I HOPE YOU GET MY POINT HERE. Lastly, with this kinda mindset admins/players will be more cautious about misusing their commands and will lower the rate of complaint against admins. I've seen 70 percent of the complains are against the new admins. So in short Lower the rate of complains = Good server. As a player you need Friendly staff that helps people around with everything which will further enhance him to play in our server. Probation Period 7 days Monitoring Session 1. Old admins will give the random questions in Discord Staff Chat/Server. Every new admins that still in Probation Period need to answer that questions. 2. Old admins will monitoring new admins's activity and behavior in Server, GT, Discord and Forum. Action on New Admin in Probation Period New admins only receive warning and remove. No suspend Small and medium mistakes (misusing commands, fighting between admins, direspectful word, rr.zm, camping, etc.) 1. Receive 1 warning immediately even it his first day as an admin (no more excuse like "he is new admin") Big mistakes (hack, aimbot, insult family and religion, ads) 1. Remove immediately. Last decision in and after Probation Period (Based on how much warnings he got in Probation Period (7 days)) 1 - 4 warnings > He pass the Probation Period and officially become an admin 5 warnings > He failed and get removed immediately. Every manager who will accept admin, will ask the player about the commands/rules/different situations that may happen in server and what will they do! Like a quick test!! 10-15 Questions. So even tho if they will open the rules to answer the question at least they will be forced to read them and in this way it becomes beneficial to them and we take beneficial admins !!
