Lag problems

hey. i have a small problem and i hope someone can help fix it.

Recently, I've been experiencing ping spikes I don't know why and its just in the server. I played on other servers to test and it was fine, I wasn't lagging. But in newlifezm I keep getting these small lag problems that happen every few seconds. Does anyone know a fix to this?

 

my settings are

gl_vsync 0

fps_max 100

rate 25000

cl_updaterate 35

cl_cmdrate 101

 

I've tried setting vsync to 1, fps_max 60-90 and the problem still persists.

good internet speed + steam cs = 100% no lag bro

no matter what we do lag will be there if incase we don't have these 2 things.

My wifi is pretty stable and this wasn't happening before. Its very difficult to play with this lag 😂

it can also be since this server is on the top 30 on gametracker, it can be the flood that someone is attacking the server

since u said  it happens only on this server , that might be the reason ::

Yeah I played, classic, zm, and ze and they were all fine. It's just in newlifezm that I'm experiencing this lag

As paul mention earlier internet speed & steam cs mostly runs smoothly for me while other lags for some people. And exectly what kind of lag you are having, it maybe due to packet losses or did it always lag weather the server is full or not ? And try converting from openGL to D3D and see. You can always installed new cs 1.6 and try downloading fresh zombie files and see if the problem still remains.
