James Harden goes to the Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons goes to the Brooklyn Nets in a trade that completely changes the panorama of North American basketball.

This event in the NBA came less than two hours after the transfer market closed and was revealed by ESPN and The Athletic, two of the media with the best sources in the league.

In addition to Simmons, who hasn't played for the Sixers all season due to an open and tough matchup with the Philadelphia franchise, the Nets will get Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks from the draft.

In exchange, the Sixers take with Harden one of the best scorers in the league to escort center Joel Embiid, who is performing at a magnificent level and sounds like one of the favorites for regular season MVP.

The Philadelphians will also incorporate a veteran for their interior game in Paul Millsap. Nets coach Steve Nash said a few days ago that they had no plans to trade Harden.

But rumors in the league suggested that the player wanted to meet with Daryl Morey, president of basketball operations for the Sixers and with whom he already worked on the Houston Rockets.

This season he is averaging 22.5 points, 8 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game.

Those from Brooklyn are going through a very serious crisis of results with nine straight losses and are right now ninth in the Eastern Conference with 29 wins and 25 losses.

Now they will receive Simmons, who was in the eye of the hurricane in Philadelphia (mainly due to his controversial decisions in the playoffs and his lack of outside shooting) and who last season averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6 .9 assists.
