La Vinotinto de Futsal will face the Argentine national team this Wednesday, in a match corresponding to matchday four of the Conmebol Copa América de Futsal, played in Asunción, Paraguay.

According to a Leader in Sports review, the team led by Freddy Miguel González took advantage of the days off to prepare for the crucial match against the Albiceleste team at 4:00 p.m. (Venezuela time) at the SND Arena in Asunción.

The Venezuelans lost 4-3 in their last match against host Paraguay and after the loss they remained third in Group B with three units and with possibilities to advance to the semifinals.

Getting the victory against the world runner-up, who finished second with 6 units, is crucial to achieve the objective of qualifying.

"We know that Argentina is a rival with a lot of experience, we have to try to take things calmly... We have to try not to make mistakes and try to make as few mistakes as possible," said the Creole coach, Freddy González in statements prior to the match.

This Wednesday's duel will be the fourth duel between the two teams, with the Argentines leading with 3 wins, 16 goals and 3 against.
