Steve Kerr, an iconic member of the Chicago Bulls during the time of Michael Jordan, and a ring-winning coach in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors (three in total) will also lead his country's team: the United States.

According to Meridiano, the news was released last week, where the coaching staff will be made up of Monty Williams (coach Phoenix Suns and gold medal winner as an assistant at the 2016 Olympics), Erik Spoelstra (coach of the Miami Heat) and Mark Few (Gonzaga's trainer) who will accompany Kerr on this new adventure.

This is Grant Hill's first major decision as CEO, appealing to a man who was already Gregg Popovich's assistant with the selection of the Stars and Stripes.

The United States has just won gold in Tokyo, these being the fourth successive games that remain with the gold medal (2004 they lost in Athens to Argentina).

Now his mission is to guide his team to glory in the 2023 World Cup (and thus dethrone Spain) and the Paris Games in 2024.
