Vector- Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 (edited) Your Nickname: zombikiller Your Problem: having problem with my cs , i downloaded Cs 1.6 original and started playing, the first 36 hours it went well but after that my pc crashed i restarted my computer opened cs but im having a problem with my nick it,s not changing from ( player_fatal ) to any other and after 20_25 min pc crashes ( only on Cs no other game or application) i downloaded 5 different kinds of CS setups even warzone , but still having the save problem , i also changed my window 4 times on the 2nd time of changing my window when the pc crashed on cs , after turning the pc back on the ( hlds ) file started inurupting on every start up i uninstalled all the cs applications but it didn,t remove it kept coming now i again changed my window and im not installing any other cs not until i get a solution , so if any one know this problem i really need to know how to end this... Screenshot: couldn,t take the screenshot in game because (lightshot) application doesn,t work in it and the interruption file opens and closes so quick..... So I gotta a solution for you buddy , Just follow the steps Go to Cstrike Folder There must be a .cfg file called Config.cfg Open it with Notepad++ Search for "Name" and S_a3d Change the name which u would like to choose Change the values of s_a3d to s_a3d "0.128" It might work try it , bcoz it worked for me i had this kind of problem so i followed those steps to get out of that problem PS : If u wanna take snapshot you can find on your keyboard their is button "PrintScreenSysRq" just press it and open paint/photoshop and press CTRL + N and then CTRL + V Another thing please do not change your windows so many times you might lose your graphic card Regards #Freaky#The_Architect 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When you launch the game you will see a console on the main screen. In that console you can write "name <yourname>". With a console command, you can change your name slightly faster in the middle of a game without covering much of the action on the screen. Press "~" to open the console. Type "name" without quotes, followed by a space and your new name. For names longer than one word, enclose the entire name inside quotes. Press "Enter" and then "~" to close the console. The change takes effect as soon as you close the console -- press "Tab" to check the scoreboard and see your updated name. please nest time take a scren this will help you more. if you don't know fallow this : Hold down Alt and press PrtScn = Windows captures only the currently active window and copies it to the clipboard. Or hold down ⊞ and Shift and press S = Use your mouse to draw a rectangle in order to specify what to capture. Windows then copies it to the clipboard.
