Problem Cs 1.6 (i cant save changes)

• Your Problem:i should always when i enter cs to write my name and put my pw and add my favourite servers even after i quit cs nothing saved (my cs is not saving what it neccesary to be saved)

I also have that problem
that happens since the cs was configured from that moment and does not change
so I had to resintalar and ready

once you put your settings , go to options and change anything in video settings , better be brightness or gamma , lower them and put them back to where they are , you might ask me why ? because after you apply it will rr the game and the settings will be saved , i had this problem before and i fixed it like this , or you might just go to cs folder / cstrike / config , and change your settings from the config , these 2 options 100% should work , good luck

1.find where the directory of yours on cs 1.6
2.you go into the folder cstrike
3.you open config(.cfg)
4.enter (write) at the bottom of config (.cfg) setinfo "_pw" "password" >>>>>for example: setinfo _pw "111111111"
5.save

This information is also stored in ServerBrowser.vdf in C: \ Program Files \ Valve \ platform \ config. copy it back, copy it back when you reload it, and come back to all servers, depending on where the CS is uploaded. It's the same after valve. I'm happy if I did any help

I had this Problem So what i did?

Right Click in your Cs then click Open File Location Then when you are there search the Folder "cstrike" Enter there and search the File Config. and Open it 

There you will find all config of your Cs So you can modify that what you need Like "Binds , Name , setinfo _pw etc.." here some examples 

REMEMBER: FOR THIS NEED HAVE YOUR CS CLOSED!!

It should install mas probably or to go to configuration to go to the folder of cs and to see the files and to restart everything previous and it solves ojala that serves my better comment to install again his cs ...

I still cannot save it  even when i did as u told me and press save when open config(cfg) again i find out that nothing saved :/

If name and pass dont saved 

1)you go to config

2)Write your name and password 

3)When you cancel it click enregistrer

My problem has been sloved ! 
I downloaded another model of cs & its actually worked !
