Reminiscent of many “shoot ’em up” video games from the early eighties- Space Shooter is an arcade game developed using Python as a programming language. Although built to be simplistic, the mechanics of this game are pretty dynamic. Moreover, the game also has engaging gameplay. The player starts the game with three lives and has to constantly shoot and dodge to save themselves from being wiped out by a constant oncoming barrage of asteroids. A hit from an asteroid causes the player’s health to decrease. While smaller asteroids deal lesser damage, larger asteroids will deal a heavier blow to your health bar. Once the player’s health bar runs out, they lose a life. This game also features two types of power-ups. While one boosts your defense by replenishing your health, the other improves your attack by doubling and tripling your rate of fire and increasing the damage dealt. As a player’s score increases, the game bumps up the difficulty by increasing the frequency of the falling asteroids. Thereby, ensuring the player stays engaged and alert. Pygame is a cross-platform set of Python modules which is used to create video games. It consists of computer graphics and sound libraries designed to be used with the Python programming language. Pygame was officially written by Pete Shinners to replace PySDL. Pygame is suitable to create client-side applications that can be potentially wrapped in a standalone executable. The project basically uses the pygame module. We use images and animate the images using pygame module. We use pygame module to do button mapping and several other display function. We use classes to call functions after every iteration of the game level Source :https://nevonprojects.com/space-shooter-combat-game-python/

3.- Random Access Memory (RAM) RAM is where data lives temporarily while it's being actively used by programs, such as when a user launches a computer application. A technician may know how to identify the type of RAM in a computer, how to replace it if it's defective and how to diagnose problems with copying data from one location in memory to another. A technician should have knowledge about the different RAMs that are available and they may also know what types of errors might affect a computer's RAM operation. A technician may backup all computer files before fixing RAM to avoid losing critical programs and documents. 4. Video graphics array port A video graphics array (VGA) port is a video input that is primarily used on PC monitors. Troubleshooting a VGA port could include verifying there isn't a loose connection, faulty cable or a broken monitor. Another task a computer technician may do is use compressed air to spray inside the VGA port to ensure it's free of dust 5. Power supply A power supply provides electricity to all components of a computer system. Typically, it's a power cord connected from the back of a PC tower into an electricity socket. A technician may troubleshoot the power supply by turning off the computer, unplugging and detaching the power supply cord or trying a new cord or outlet 6. Cooling fan Cooling fans are a computer's system to decrease overheating. Many computers have more than one cooling fan to help users who run their computer heavily, such as video streaming or gaming. A computer technician may need to fix a computer's cooling fan if a user notices their computer overheating. They may check for any damage to the blades and make sure that they are free from debris. Replacing computer fans can be a common troubleshooting solution for a technician. 7. Hard drive Hard drives are data storage devices used to store files, programs or other information on a computer system. They use magnetically coated discs called hard disks that store digital representations of information. If a hard drive fails, a computer technician may suspect a corrupt hard drive. They may use data recovery software to repair the computer or may replace the hard drive. 8. Monitor A computer monitor is an electronic device that displays what's what programs are running on your computer so a user can see. Some computer technicians may wear anti-static gloves when handling computer monitors to avoid static electricity. They may also troubleshoot monitor issues by disconnecting it from the computer and trying a new power cord. 9. Printer This is a machine that produces copies of text or images on paper using ink. Po[CENSORED]r printers include laser or inkjet and computer technicians may be skilled in troubleshooting issues across multiple brands and varieties. Computer technicians may service printers including verifying power is running to the machine. They may also check to see if the paper tray is full and ready for printing. Technicians might replace or refill any ink cartridges and toner. If the physical printer components are operating efficiently but the machine still isn't working, a technician will then troubleshoot software malfunctions that may occur in the communication between the computer and the printer. This requires more expertise to fix since it involves how the systems interact with each other rather than physical component failures on the printer itself 10. Scanner A scanner is a device that digitally copies an image or and makes it available as a file for access on a computer. If a scanner malfunctions, a computer technician may remove the cover and carefully check if it has any damage. If there are no visible issues, then they may check the power connection cable. Similar to a printer, there is computer software that connects the scanner to the computer, so a technician will also verify that the software is communicating to the scanner Source :https://www.indeed.com/m/jobs?q=Hardware

As part of a Q&A session during CD Projekt's recent 2023 Fiscal Year earnings call (via Video Games Chronicle), it was asked if the studio had considered licensing its IP to third-party developers to make games for mobile and whether such a deal would be a one time licensing fee or a profit-sharing agreement between the two studios. According to CD Projekt CEO Michał Nowakowski, the answer to the first question is yes, though they have nothing to announce on that front "just yet." The answer is pretty simple here," Nowakowski said. "The answer is yes, we are considering such a move. In fact, we were pursuing, through conversations, opportunities like that. We have nothing to announce just yet, but when the time comes, we would." Nowakowski went on to say that they would not go into specifics for any kind of business deal and that there "is nothing in place that we're talking about." There is no "predesigned business model," he said, and that it would share more information about any such deal "when the time comes." Though Cyberpunk 2077 has not yet received a mobile game, The Witcher has. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game received mobile ports, though support for the title ended in October 2023. Another Witcher mobile game, the Pokémon Go-inspired The Witcher: Monster Slayer, released in July 2021 but shut down nearly two years later in 2023. CD Projekt is currently working on The Witcher 4, with full production slated to begin this year on what will be the first game in what is planned to be a new Witcher trilogy. More than 400 people are working on the next entry in the critically acclaimed RPG series, roughly two-third of the studio, according to Nowakowski. A small number of developers are still providing support for Cyberpunk 2077, while around 47 are working on its follow-up, currently codenamed Project Orion. be redeemed through Warhammer 40k Lost Crusade codes! Warhammer 40,000: Lost Crusade can impress with massive constructs and fire-shooting space robots, but nothing really comes close to the actual base building. Mainly because you're building in outer space. However, as a new Commander, you always want to stay ahead of your opponents in terms of power, and you can only achieve that by stocking up on resources and upgrading everything that can be upgraded. For that, you will need supplies - luckily, we've got some Warhammer 40k Lost Crusade codes to help you out! In a game where base building is elevated to a whole new level, you can either try to keep up with the rest, get ahead of them, or slowly fade into the vast nothingness of space. Okay, okay, maybe that was a little bit dramatic, but because Warhammer 40k is so highly competitive, the players are trying their best to become the highest-ranking Commander. The codes you will find below will give you plenty of resources, Crystals, Stamina, and much more. What are all the Warhammer 40k Lost Crusade codes? The codes you can redeem for Warhammer Lost Crusade are typical codes that the developers release on their social media accounts. We've noticed that although they are not released often, they are valid for fairly long periods of time (about a month on average). Important to remember: all the codes that we have listed below are case-sensitive, so you need to type them exactly as they are in the list below. Now let's take a look at all the codes that you can find in the game, and the rewards they give. Source :https://www.pocketgamer.com/warhammer-40-000-lost-crusade/codes/

Dragon's Dogma 2 received its first proper patch earlier today, following its po[CENSORED]r yet controversial launch last week. It's a small update that likely won't do much to quell the extensive reports of performance issues with the PC version, but it nonetheless makes a few notable improvements to Capcom's eccentric fantasy RPG. The headline change is the introduction of a new "New Game" option, which lets players "start a new game when save data already exists". It is, frankly, wild that Dragon's Dogma 2 launched without this feature. Restarting an RPG a few hours in to tweak your character and class is practically a tradition at this point. But better late than never, I suppose. After this, the most important change makes "the quest that allows players to acquire their own dwelling (where they can save and rest) available earlier in the game." Purely on principle, I'm all for making it easier for people to own their own house. Presumably though, the reason for this is less to do with progressive housing policy, and more that players were getting frustrated at the length of time they had wait before having control over their own saving. Aside from this, Capcom has tweaked the availability of "Art of Metamorphosis" items at Pawn Guilds, increasing the purchasable number to 99. These items are used to alter the appearance of characters. Given how extensive the game's character creator is (and the fact you can customise pawns) I imagine these have been selling out faster than half-price Steam Decks. The patch notes also list fixes to "miscellaneous" bugs and text display issues, as well as a specific issue "related to the display of models under some specific settings" and an "improvement to visual quality when DLSS Super Resolution is enabled." You can read the full patch notes here. All these changes are welcome, but they're unlikely to do much to shift Dragon's Dogma 2 away from its current "mixed" rating on Steam. While some of these negative reviews stem from a slightly overblown reaction to the game's extensive, but largely innocuous list of launch DLC, the bigger issue is the game's performance. In a separate announcement, Capcom explained that the framerate issues many players are experiencing derive from heavy CPU load, as "a large amount of CPU usage is allocated to each character and calculating the impact of their physical presence in various areas". But this doesn't change the fact that it's a problem to which Capcom currently lacks a solution. The studio says it is "looking into ways to improve performance in the future." Let's hope those improvements arrive soon. Source :https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/dragons-dogma-2s-first-proper-patch-adds-a-much-needed-new-game-option-and-makes-it-easier-to-get-a-house/

CSBLACKDEVIL — Former President Donald Trump made a series of false claims on Tuesday while railing against the judge who issued the $454 million civil fraud judgment against him. Trump posted the claims on social media the day after his lawyers said in a court filing that he had been unable to persuade any company to provide the appeal bond he needs in order to stop New York Attorney General Letitia James, who filed the successful lawsuit against him, from beginning to collect on Judge Arthur Engoron’s judgment. Trump baselessly accused Engoron and James of corruption and wrote that they are “asking me to put up massive amounts of money before I am allowed to appeal the ridiculous decision. Never done before.” He also claimed that Engoron “wants me to put up Hundreds of Millions of Dollars for the Right to Appeal his ridiculous decision” and that “Engoron wants me to put up the ridiculous fine (I DID NOTHING WRONG!) before I get a chance to Appeal his crazed ruling - A first!” Trump claimed in another post: “I shouldn’t have to put up any money, being forced by the Corrupt Judge and AG, until the end of the appeal. That’s the way system works!” Facts First: Trump’s claims are comprehensively untrue. He is allowed to appeal Engoron’s decision without putting up any money. In fact, he is already appealing; he filed his notice of appeal in February, the first business day after Engoron made the ruling official. And what Trump is actually being required to do – put up cash or a bond for the full amount of the judgment to secure a stay that would prevent James from collecting during the appeals process – is not “a first” or something “never done before.” The requirement is set out by New York law, and it is regularly applied in civil cases in the state. “This is literally the way that the NY rules of court are designed to work, and actually work every day,” said Mitchell Epner, a former federal prosecutor who is now a litigator in private practice in New York. He said the rules being applied to Trump “are ap Source https://edition.cnn.com/2024/03/19/politics/fact-check-donald-trump-appeal-fraud-ruling-money/index.html

The horse (Equus ferus caballus)[2][3] is a domesticated, one-toed, hoofed mammal. It belongs to the taxonomic family Equidae and is one of two extant subspecies of Equus ferus. The horse has evolved over the past 45 to 55 million years from a small multi-toed creature, close to Eohippus, into the large, single-toed animal of today. Humans began domesticating horses around 4000 BCE, and their domestication is believed to have been widespread by 3000 BCE. Horses in the subspecies caballus are domesticated, although some domesticated po[CENSORED]tions live in the wild as feral horses. These feral po[CENSORED]tions are not true wild horses, which are horses that never have been domesticated and historically linked to the megafauna category of species. There is an extensive, specialized vocabulary used to describe equine-related concepts, covering everything from anatomy to life stages, size, colors, markings, breeds, locomotion, and behavior. Horses are adapted to run, allowing them to quickly escape predators, and possess an excellent sense of balance and a strong fight-or-flight response. Related to this need to flee from predators in the wild is an unusual trait: horses are able to sleep both standing up and lying down, with younger horses tending to sleep significantly more than adults.[4] Female horses, called mares, carry their young for approximately 11 months and a young horse, called a foal, can stand and run shortly following birth. Most domesticated horses begin training under a saddle or in a harness between the ages of two and four. They reach full adult development by age five, and have an average lifespan of between 25 and 30 years. Horse breeds are loosely divided into three categories based on general temperament: spirited "hot bloods" with speed and endurance; "cold bloods", such as draft horses and some ponies, suitable for slow, heavy work; and "warmbloods", developed from crosses between hot bloods and cold bloods, often focusing on creating breeds for specific riding purposes, particularly in Europe. There are more than 300 breeds of horse in the world today, developed for many different uses. Horses and humans interact in a wide variety of sport competitions and non-competitive recreational pursuits as well as in working activities such as police work, agriculture, entertainment, and therapy. Horses were historically used in warfare, from which a wide variety of riding and driving techniques developed, using many different styles of equipment and methods of control. Many products are derived from horses, including meat, milk, hide, hair, bone, and pharmaceuticals extracted from the urine of pregnant mares. Humans provide domesticated horses with food, water, and shelter, as well as attention from specialists such as veterinarians and farriers. Depending on breed, management and environment, the modern domestic horse has a life expectancy of 25 to 30 years.[7] Uncommonly, a few animals live into their 40s and, occasionally, beyond.[8] The oldest verifiable record was "Old Billy", a 19th-century horse that lived to the age of 62.[7] In modern times, Sugar Puff, who had been listed in Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living pony, died in 2007 at age 56.[9] Regardless of a horse or pony's actual birth date, for most competition purposes a year is added to its age each January 1 of each year in the Northern Hemisphere[7][10] and each August 1 in the Southern Hemisphere.[11] The exception is in endurance riding, where the minimum age to compete is based on the animal's actual calendar age.[12] The following terminology is used to describe horses of various ages: Foal A horse of either sex less than one year old. A nursing foal is sometimes called a suckling, and a foal that has been weaned is called a weanling.[13] Most domesticated foals are weaned at five to seven months of age, although foals can be weaned at four months with no adverse physical effects.[14] Source:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse

James had the sellout crowd at Barclays Center standing on its feet as he put the finishing touches on his 3-point shooting display in the fourth quarter. He reached 40 points for the third time this season, most recently on March 16 in a home loss to Golden State. The Lakers have won five of six since then, and this victory moved them a season-high nine games over .500 with seven games remaining in the regular season. Los Angeles remained ninth in the Western Conference, but the Lakers could catch the Sacramento Kings for eighth or the Phoenix Suns for seventh in the West, taking them out of the single-elimination No. 9 vs. No. 10 play-in game. If James has another game like this in the postseason, just about anything is possible for the NBA’s career scoring leader who continues to amaze at age 39. Cam Thomas led the Nets with 30 points, trying to rally them after their dismal start. “But can’t do nothing when somebody hits 9 for 10 from 3,” Thomas said. “Made every 3 he put up so it’s tough, but I feel like we played really well second through the fourth. It was just the first quarter was pretty tough on us, starting off that slow,” The Lakers got 114 of their 116 points from their starters. James also made nine 3-pointers Jan. 24, 2023, against the Clippers, shooting 9 for 14. His 90% accuracy was the second-best of his career in games in which he made at least five 3-pointers, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. He was 5 for 5 against Oklahoma City on Dec. 23 of this season. Brooklyn was 0 for 8 from the field when interim coach Kevin Ollie called his first timeout just over 4 minutes into the first quarter after James grabbed a defensive rebound and hit Davis in stride with a long pass for a breakaway dunk, and the futility continued until Nic Claxton broke the ice after an 0-for-11 start by banking in a 10-footer. Still, the lead rapidly grew to 24-4 with 4 ½ minutes left in the opening quarter, and the Barclays Center crowd was silenced as the Nets were laying this particular Easter egg. The Lakers’ lead was 31-10 after one quarter as Brooklyn shot 4-for-21 and was outrebounded 21-11.James kept single-handedly holding off the Nets in the third and fourth quarters with 3s, the eighth of which came as he was falling to his left from the corner to give the Lakers a 108-91 lead. James then was isolated against Claxton on the perimeter on the next possession and dribbled between his legs several times before making his ninth 3 to make it 111-93 Source :https://apnews.com/article/lakers-nets-score-james-15cbc8972f18e52d866ad8cdedbff9c5

What better way to get out of the house, get some fresh air, and experience the great outdoors than with a summer camping trip? If this is your first time gearing up for a camping trip, we know it can feel a little overwhelming. Where to camp? What to pack? What to cook? There’s a lot to remember! That’s why we wanted to share some tips to help make the planning process easier for you. Few things are more stressful than trying to find a campsite without a reservation — especially during the busy summer months. Save yourself the stress and go to Recreation.gov and reserve your campsite ahead of time. It’s well worth the online processing fee. Not all campgrounds are the same. Some have a lot of amenities while others can be far more rustic. Some questions you will want to know ahead of time: Is there potable water available? Are there bathrooms with showers? Dishwashing facilities? Can you purchase firewood on site? Are there any fire restrictions? Most of the time you can find this information on the same site that you book your reservation. If not, call the campground office and talk with one of the hosts about what you can expect. At home, with the luxury of a strong Wi-Fi connection, do a little research on the surrounding area. Are there hiking trails you want to explore? Water features like rivers or lakes to go swimming in? You will also want to make note of places like the nearest grocery store, gas station, and (if you’re cautious like us) emergency room. Campgrounds are notorious for having terrible cell coverage, so it’s a good idea to get your bearings of the area beforehand. Figure out how many meals you plan on cooking and what you want to eat, then make a grocery list so you have everything on hand before you head to the campground. A frantic grocery run on your way out of town almost always results in forgetting something crucial. For meals, think of easy to prepare and easy to clean ideas like Cheesy Tater Tot, Bacon and Egg Burritos, Tomato & Cheddar Sliders, Stuffed Ham, Pickle & Cheese Grilled Pitas and Spicy Twice Bake Sweet Potatoes with Bacon & Cheddar. Also, don’t forget to pack some snacks. A simple cheese plate and a cold drink sounds like a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon outdoors! For kids, cheese sticks, crackers, and apples or dried fruit are great to have on hand to keep them energized while exploring the surrounding are Hurriedly packing your camping gear a few hours before departure is exactly how you accidentally forget something critical like a can opener! Write out a check list and start packing things into boxes a few days ahead of time Be sure to inspect equipment like your tent, sleeping mattress, and stove to make sure everything is in good working order. If anything needs to be replaced, repaired, or purchased, you’ll have plenty of time. (The best time to discover your air mattress has a hole in it is when you’re at home!) Check the weather. If there is even a slight possibility of rain, make sure you bring appropriate rain gear like rain coats, rain fly for your tent, and possibly some tarps to cover your stuff. The night before your trip, use “sacrificial ice” to chill the inside of your cooler. Right before it’s time to pack it up, dump that ice out and load it up with fresh ice. This pre-chill will make your ice last much longer. Repackage your food into watertight, resealable containers. Refrigerate food ahead of time and freeze anything that you can so it is already cold when it goes into the cooler. When packing your cooler, you want to aim for a ratio of ⅓ food to ⅔ ice. The leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), Northern Ireland’s main pro-union party, is stepping down after he was charged with “allegations of an historical nature,” the DUP announced on Friday. Jeffrey Donaldson, 61, confirmed to his party in a letter that he had been charged with historical allegations and resigned as leader with immediate effect, the party said in a statement. “In accordance with the Party Rules, the Party Officers have suspended Mr Donaldson from membership, pending the outcome of a judicial process,” it continued. The announcement came hours after police issued a statement on Friday saying that a 61-year-old man had been charged with non-recent sexual offenses, but did not name the person. “Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland arrested and charged a 61-year-old man for non-recent sexual offences,” the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) statement said. “A 57-year-old woman was also arrested and charged at the time for aiding and abetting additional offences.” Sinn Fein vice-president Michelle O'Neill speaking after being appointed as Northern Ireland's First Minister on Saturday. RELATED ARTICLE Historic day in Northern Ireland as Michelle O’Neill becomes first nationalist leader UK and Irish media have reported that the police charges relate to Donaldson. Both individuals charged by police are expected to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on April 24. Donaldson’s social media accounts were deleted overnight, including on Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn. His page on the DUP’s website was also taken down. Northern Ireland’s First Minister Michelle O’Neill said Friday her “priority” was to “continue to provide the leadership the public expect and deserve” following Donaldson’s resignation.“The DUP Leader has resigned after being charged with serious offences,” she said in the statement, adding: “This is now a matter for the criminal justice system.” O’Neill, who is a member of the pro-united Ireland party Sinn Fein, is joint head of the Northern Irish government alongside Emma Little-Pengelly of the DUP, a pro-union, pro-United Kingdom party. O’Neill said that she will strive to “ensure the four-party executive coalition delivers for the whole of our community now and in the future.” Donaldson had been chief whip of the DUP since May 2015 and became party leader in 2021. First elected in 1997, he was the longest serving sitting lawmaker in Northern Ireland before his resignation, according to the DUP. He was first elected as a member of the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP), but switched his affiliation to the DUP in 2004. Under his leadership, the DUP refused to participate in Northern Ireland’s power-sharing government in protest over post-Brexit trading rules. This two-year political deadlock came to an end in February. The DUP announced on Friday it had unanimously appointed Gavin Robinson as interim party leader. https://edition.cnn.com/world
