  3. Google has opened up access to its Search Labs testing program allowing users to try out the upcoming search engine update with the most notable change being the Search Generative Experience or SGE. To be clear, Search Labs isn’t technically open to the public as you’ll have to first join a waitlist. If you’ve already signed up, be sure to check your email account for an invitation from Google as they're currently rolling out. Don’t worry if you haven’t entered as there’s still room left in the waitlist on both desktop and mobile. To join on desktop, you need to first install Google Chrome on your computer. From there, head on over to the Search Labs website, select Join Waitlist, and wait for the invitation to arrive. On mobile devices, launch the Google app. You should see a science beaker-esque icon in the top left corner of the screen. Just like before, select Join Waitlist then wait for the invite. Search Labs is available on both iOS and Android so no one’s being left out. Install the latest app update if you don't see the icon. Limited-time only Unless you’re a subscriber to Google One Premium, it may take a while until you get an invite. A recent report from 9To5Google states Premium subscribers are getting “priority access” to Search Labs, although “it won’t be immediate.” “Access spots are limited” at the moment, but more will open up over “the coming weeks. But once you get the invite, act fast. SGE and the rest of the Search Labs experiments will be available for a limited time only. It’s unknown for how long, so we asked Google for more information. This story will be updated if we hear back. There’s been a fair amount of hype surrounding SGE ever since it was first revealed during I/O 2023. The technology essentially enhances Google Search to provide long, detailed responses to queries by taking context into consideration. It could very well completely change how people use the search engine. Word of advice For the lucky few who get early access to SGE, Google recommends starting off with simple terms so you can get used to how the AI works. Once you get a feel for it, try entering more specific queries. One of the highlighted use cases of SGE is to help people with their shopping. The AI can generate a detailed list of features, reviews, price points, and even link to the product itself. In addition to Google’s advice, we have some of our own because we’ve used multiple generative AI models from Bing to Brave Summarizer. One thing we’ve learned is generative AIs can hallucinate, meaning they come up with totally false information that bears no resemblance to reality. Don't always believe what you read. And do be mindful of what you enter as generative AIs keep the information you type in. In fact, some major tech corporations, like Samsung, have banned their employees from using ChatGPT after some sensitive information was leaked. Google I/O 2023 revealed a lot more than just the tech giant’s AI tools. Be sure to check out TechRadar’s coverage of the event as it happened. https://www.techradar.com/news/googles-ai-boosted-search-engine-enters-first-public-trial-heres-how-to-try-it

  6. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, the English Premier League champion, was awarded the best player in the tournament today, Saturday, after his first season in the competition during which he broke many records and scored abundant goals that led City to its third consecutive title. Haaland , 22, scored 36 goals in 35 games this season, breaking the previous record of 34 goals in one season in the Premier League, which was shared by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer and held for nearly three decades . The Norwegian striker received the award thanks to the votes of the public, the leaders of the twenty league clubs and a panel of football experts City players won the award for four consecutive seasons, as Kevin De Bruyne won it in the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 seasons and Robin Diaz in the 2020-2021 season. Exceptional year Haaland outperformed his rivals De Bruyne , Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier https://www.skynewsarabia.com/sport/1624481-هالاند-يفوز-بجائزة-أفضل-لاعب-الدوري-الإنجليزي
  7. his is my first job out of university. I didn’t have any interest in working in hospitality; I needed to pay back my student loans while I looked for work that was more relevant to my degree. But I have found that I really enjoy it. I work in what you might describe as an old-fashioned pub. It hasn’t really changed for years. We serve reasonably cheap food and drinks and have lots of regulars, who like to sit at the same tables. A lot of them come in for karaoke every Friday night and some are extremely competitive. Once, after a woman sang Hello by Adele, another came up immediately and also sang Hello by Adele. They were really not getting along and, fuelled by sambuca, continued copying each other’s songs until each group of friends ended up screaming at the other. One group picked up the other’s coats and bags and started throwing them outside. Eventually, as one of them was singing Rehab by Amy Winehouse, another tried to grab the microphone, which smashed on the floor. The guy who runs the karaoke was going mad, because his equipment was getting destroyed. I have never seen a karaoke war quite like it. On another occasion, three friends came in just before last orders. The next time I looked over, there were only two of them. I offered them plastic glasses to take away and asked if their friend wanted one, too. “Oh, he’s already shot off,” they said. The next day, I came in to open up, went down to the toilets and found him asleep in a small gap under the staircase. He crawled out, said: “Thank you!” and left in a hurry. That was quite a surprise. The pandemic changed everything. I remember the last night we were open before the first lockdown – we were packed with people right up until closing time. No one wanted to go home, because they didn’t know what would happen next in the world. We had to remain closed for a good few months before the government relaxed the rules. Everyone is still a lot more hygiene-aware. Some customers still wear masks to walk around the pub and lots of people sanitise their hands. One time, all the toilets were occupied and a customer came upstairs arguing that pubs should have a three-toilet minimum, due to the need for social distancing. I explained that I didn’t think that was how it worked – at least not now – but he stormed out. We have had to put up our prices. A lot of our regulars are pensioners and they are always the ones who find it hardest to accept it when prices change. They will say: “No, it’s £3.60 for a pint,” and refuse to acknowledge that it has gone up. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/may/27/one-morning-i-found-a-customer-asleep-by-the-toilets-my-life-as-a-pub-manager-in-badly-behaved-britain
  8. Ukraine is ready to launch its long-expected counter-offensive against Russian forces, one of the country's most senior security officials has told the BBC. Oleksiy Danilov would not name a date but said an assault to retake territory from President Vladimir Putin's occupying forces could begin "tomorrow, the day after tomorrow or in a week". He warned that Ukraine's government had "no right to make a mistake" on the decision because this was an "historic opportunity" that "we cannot lose". As secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Mr Danilov is at the heart of President Volodymyr Zelensky's de facto war cabinet. His rare interview with the BBC was interrupted by a phone message from President Zelensky summoning him to a meeting to discuss the counter-offensive. During the interview, he also confirmed that some Wagner mercenary forces were withdrawing from the city of Bakhmut, the site of the bloodiest battle of the war so far - but he added they were "regrouping to another three locations" and "it doesn't mean that they will stop fighting with us". Mr Danilov also said he was "absolutely calm" about Russia beginning to deploy nuclear weapons to Belarus, saying: "To us, it's not some kind of news." Ukraine has been planning a counter-offensive for months. But it has wanted as much time as possible to train troops and to receive military equipment from Western allies. In the meantime, Russian forces have been preparing their defences. Much is at stake because the government in Kyiv needs to show the people of Ukraine - and Western allies - that it can break through Russian lines, end the effective military deadlock and recapture some of its sovereign territory. UK sending long-range missiles to Ukraine Mr Danilov said the armed forces would begin the assault when commanders calculated "we can have the best result at that point of the war". Asked if Ukrainian armed forces were ready for the offensive, he replied: "We are always ready. The same as we were ready to defend our country at any time. And it is not a question of time. "We have to understand that that historic opportunity that is given to us - by God - to our country we cannot lose, so we can truly become an independent, big European country." He added: "It could happen tomorrow, the day after tomorrow or in a week. "It would be weird if I were to name dates of the start of that or those events. That cannot be done…. We have a very responsible task before our country. And we understand that we have no right to make a mistake." Mr Danilov dismissed suggestions the counter-offensive had already begun, saying that "demolishing Russian control centres and Russian military equipment" had been the task of Ukrainian armed forces since 24 February last year - the date Russia launched the invasion. "We have no days off during this war," he said. He defended the decision by Ukraine's army to fight in Bakhmut for so many months, a battle that has cost the lives of many of its soldiers. Bakhmut not occupied by Russia, says defiant Zelensky "Bakhmut is our land, our territory, and we must defend it," he said. "If we start leaving every settlement, that could get us to our western border as Putin wanted from the first days of the war." He said that "we control only a small part of the city, and we admit to that. But you have to keep in mind that Bakhmut has played a big role in this war." Asked if Wagner mercenaries were leaving, he replied: "Yes, that is happening. But it doesn't mean that they will stop fighting with us. They are going to concentrate more on other fronts… they are regrouping to other three locations." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-65725004

  10. The big feature list for Minecraft 1.20 has been known for a while, and test builds have been available for a few months, with the only remaining mystery being its release date. The next Minecraft update is happening sooner than I'd expected: Trails & Tales is coming on June 7. The big ticket bits of Minecraft 1.20 are the archeology feature which is bringing suspicious sand and suspicious gravel which players can sweep away to uncover tools, bones, and the eggs to hatch the new giant Sniffer creatures which in turn will dig up ancient plants in the overworld. They're not the only new mobs either, being joined by the giant Minecraft camel mob, a new type of mount that can dash across large gaps and seat two players together on its back. There's also the new cherry grove biome, which players trying out the beta builds and snapshots have already been hunting down in some great new Minecraft seeds. If you want to start out a fresh save when 1.20 launches, be sure to check that list for a world that spawns you near that lovely new locale. Cherry blossom trees have their own wood, meaning we're getting a new full set of pink colored wood blocks complete with doors, signs, and so on. But there's a second set of wood coming too: bamboo wood and all its own blocks and variants. There are plenty of other changes in the update, especially for the builders among us, with chiseled bookshelves for puzzle-designers, armor trims for the fashion-forward, and new hanging signs for the environmental storytellers. Both the Java and Bedrock edition will get the Trails & Tales update on June 7. You'll be able to find the full changelog over on Minecraft's site. https://www.pcgamer.com/minecraft-120-trails-and-tales-update-is-launching-on-june-7/
  11. Realme 11 Pro 5G series is confirmed to debut in India in June. Realme is yet to confirm the exact launch date, but ahead of it, an Indian tipster claims that the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ will go official in the second week of June alongside the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro true wireless earbuds. RAM and storage details of the Indian variants have also been tipped. The Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ were unveiled in China in May alongside the Realme 11. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. Known tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) has leaked the India launch date along with RAM and storage details of the Realme 11 Pro 5G series on Twitter. According to the tipster, Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ will be launched in India on June 8. The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earbuds are also said to debut alongside. The Realme 11 Pro is tipped to come in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations. The Realme 11 Pro+, in contrast, is said to be offered in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options. Both smartphones could arrive in Astral Black, Sunrise Beige, and Oasis Green shades. The Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ were launched in China earlier this month with an initial price tag of CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 20,000) and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 24,000) respectively. The Chinese variants of Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ sport 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,412 pixels) curved displays with a 360Hz touch sampling rate. They are powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The Realme 11 Pro sports a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 100-megapixel primary sensor. The Realme 11 Pro+ has a triple rear camera unit led by a 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 sensor. They are backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The Realme 11 Pro supports 67W fast charging with the bundled charger, while the Realme 11 Pro+ has 100W charging support. Realme might not want the Mini Capsule to be the defining feature of the Realme C55, but will it end up being one of the phone's most talked-about hardware specifications? We discuss this on Orbital, the Gadgets 360 podcast. Orbital is available on Spotify, Gaana, JioSaavn, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and wherever you get your podcasts. https://www.gadgets360.com/mobiles/news/realme-11-pro-plus-5g-buds-air-5-pro-tws-earbuds-india-launch-june-8-ram-storage-options-leak-4069158
  12. Microsoft has confirmed some 32-bit apps are having issues when copying and saving files across different versions of Windows. The issue is affecting a number of po[CENSORED]r programs and Microsoft Office apps, including the likes of Word and Excel, with users finding they cannot save their work and being confronted with "Document not saved" error messages. Microsoft says the issue is primarily affecting enterprise and business users, with consumers and those using Windows devices in their home unlikely to be affected. Windows copy issues "You might have intermittent issues saving, or copying, or attaching files using 32-bit apps which are large address aware and using the CopyFile API," the company said in a support page outlining the problems. "Windows devices are more likely to be affected by this issue when using some commercial/enterprise security software which uses extended file attributes." Microsoft notes that all its most po[CENSORED]r Windows builds are affected, including Windows 11, version 22H2; Windows 10, version 22H2; Windows 11, version 21H2; and Windows 10, version 21H2. There have been no reports of File Explorer being affected by the copying issue, but Microsoft notes the CopyFile API used by a number of specific applications may be impacted. The company added that 64-bit apps are not affected by this issue, which also avoids apps that are 32-bit and not large address aware. As it stands, Microsoft has only been able to release a fix for Windows 10 and Windows 11 21H2, which is available via the Known Issue Rollback system, adding it is working on a patch for other versions, and will provide an update soon. The company says users might be able to get around the issue simply by attempting to save or copy again. "Since the issue is intermittent, it is likely to succeed on a subsequent try," Microsoft's advice says. Here's our pick of the best free office software around https://www.techradar.com/news/having-trouble-copying-and-saving-files-across-windows-this-could-be-why
  13. Four of the best graphics cards have just gotten decent price reductions at U.S. retailers Newegg and Amazon. Consumers can save up to 25% on select GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, GeForce RTX 3060, and GeForce RTX 3050 graphics cards from MSI. Nvidia's latest GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards have been on the market for a while now. However, while the Ada-based products are selling ok, they aren't exactly flying off the shelves. One recent report from DigiTimes claims that Nvidia hasn't bolstered GeForce RTX 40-series production. Then again, there's also the likely possibility that Nvidia's partners will have a large stock of older GeForce RTX 30-series products they need to offload. In addition, Twitter user Sebastian Castellanos recently spotted a series of Ampere graphics cards at Newegg that are selling below their MSRP. The GeForce RTX 3070 launched in 2020 with an MSRP of $499. The MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 2X 8G OC LHR, which usually retails for $539.99, has dropped to $449.99 on Newegg. The graphics card is presently the cheapest custom GeForce RTX 3070 on the retail market. Consumers that don't want to spend over $400 on a graphics card can still find refuge in the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3X 8G OC LHR, which is based on the latest GDDR6X SKU, now sells for $314.99 with the promo code VGAEXCMSET449, down from its regular price of $449.99 and way below the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti's original $399 MSRP. Now $449.99, was $549.99 - MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 2X 8G OC LHR Now $314.99, was $449.99 - MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3X 8G OC LHR Now $279.99, was $364.99 - MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Aero ITX 12G OC Now $259.99, was $339.99 - MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 8G OC Now $219.99, was $308.79 - MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Ventus 2X 8G OC The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Aero ITX 12G OC is now available for $279.99, netting you a 23% saving. The graphics card is based on the original GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB of memory. The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Aero ITX 12G OC is an ITX graphics card that will fit even the most compact systems. The graphics card is in stock on both Newegg and Amazon. Meanwhile, the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 8G OC retails for $259.99, $80 cheaper. It's based on a slightly cut-down variant of the GeForce RTX 3060 with just 8GB of memory and a narrower 128-bit memory interface. However, the graphics card holds some value for gamers with a strict budget, as the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 8G OC costs less than $260 on Newegg and Amazon. Last but not least, there's also a deal on the GeForce RTX 3050. The MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Ventus 2X 8G OC has dropped to $219.99 on Newegg and Amazon. The graphics card had an MSRP of $249. Although not the fastest, it's still a viable option for gamers that don't need a lot of firepower or want something better than integrated graphics. Thus far, the discounts appear limited to MSI-branded GeForce RTX 30-series graphics cards. We haven't seen similar deals from the other vendors, such as Gigabyte, Asus or Zotac. However, if retailers are having issue moving Ampere stock, it wouldn't surprise us one bit if other brands start offering discounts on their inventory. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/NVIDIA-rtx-30-price-cuts
  14. A Florida zoo has issued a “profound and sincere apology” after it sparked outrage from thousands of New Zealanders about its treatment of one of their national birds. Zoo Miami said “concerns expressed” about the kiwi called Paora had “been taken very seriously,” after a video emerged on social media earlier this week of the bird being taken out of his enclosure and being firmly patted. The footage also showed the nocturnal creature entering a wooden box to seek a darker environment, only for someone to lift up the lid and expose him to a brightly lit audience. Within hours of the video appearing, an online petition complaining about his treatment had garnered thousands of signatures and New Zealand's prime minister and Conservation Department had commented on the matter. Paora was “being handled by dozens of strangers, petted on his sensitive whiskers, laughed at, and shown off like a toy,” wrote Jeseka Christieson, who launched the petition. “Kiwi are nocturnal animals, who should be kept in suitable dark enclosures, and minimally handled. He is unable to exercise natural behavior,” she said. “We hope this petition can reach someone who has the power to spark an investigation into his conditions, and relocate him to a more suitable environment,” added Christieson, who hails from Hamilton, a city on New Zealand's North Island. Her statement echoes the advice issued in a Kiwi Best Practice Manual published by the Conservation Department, which warns that the “mainly nocturnal” birds should not be “taken out of their burrows just for the purposes of allowing people to see and touch them,” because they lack protection around the ribcage and vital organs. Several people who signed Christieson’s petition also expressed their outrage at Paora’s treatment. One described his treatment as “shameful” and “atrocious.” Others took to Twitter to complain, including wildlife photographer Holly Neill, who wrote that his treatment was “upsetting.” “I’m so mad about this. It’s being kept awake during the day despite being a nocturnal species,” she said. Asked about Paora’s treatment Tuesday, New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins told reporters that he thought it showed his compatriots “show a lot of pride in our national bird when they’re overseas and they do take action when they see kiwi’s being mistreated.” In a Twitter post, the Conservation Department said it would be “discussing the situation with the American Association of Zoos & Aquariums to address some of the housing and handling concerns raised.” In a statement, Zoo Miami offered a “profound and sincere apology for the stress initiated by a video on social media depicting the handling and housing of ‘Paora,’ the kiwi bird that is presently under our care.” It added that the “Kiwi Encounter” which gave visitors a chance to pet the animal for $25, would “no longer be offered.” “Though Paora has thrived at Zoo Miami while receiving the best care available, the development of the Kiwi Encounter was, in hindsight, not well conceived with regard to the national symbolism of this iconic animal and what it represents to the people of New Zealand, especially the Maori,” it said. “Plans are presently underway to build a special habitat for him that will continue to provide him with the shelter that he needs while respecting and supporting his natural instincts,” it added. “It will be developed in such a way that we can teach our guests about the amazing kiwi without any direct contact from the public. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/animal-news/miami-zoo-apologizes-treatment-kiwi-bird-outrages-new-zealand-rcna85947
  15. This 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is up for auction until Sunday, May 28. The lightweight little sports coupe is powered by a twin-cam 2.0-liter four-cylinder and was rated at 129 horsepower when new. The car looks to be in incredible condition and is said to have been refurbished in the 2010s under previous ownership. We seem to be reaching a new peak on the sine graph representing car sizes. Mid-size pickups have grown beyond that of full-size trucks from not too many years ago. Sedans and crossovers continue to balloon upwards and outwards. A 2023 BMW i7 xDrive60 recently tipped the Car and Driver scales at over 6000 pounds. We haven't always had such huge cars, though. This little Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 was considered an ideal-sized sport coupe for the driving enthusiast of the early 1970s. And provided you don't mind mixing it up with outsized modern traffic, you can experience this Alfa yourself, as the car is currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer—which, like Car and Driver, is part of Hearst Autos. As all old Italian sports coupes should be, the Alfa is finished in red over black vinyl—with a wooden steering wheel and woodgrain trim lining the dash. The car looks to be in fantastic condition, perhaps not concours ready, but more than ready to show off at a local car event. The car is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership in the 2010s before it was acquired by the current seller in 2021. According to the listing, both the camshaft and oil pan were resealed in March 2023. The 2.0-liter double-overhead-cam four-cylinder engine features SPICA mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 129 horsepower and 130 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The listing puts the odometer at 27K miles, approximately 1000 of which have been added by the current owner, though the vehicle's total mileage is unknown. You may not have the towering seating position that's so po[CENSORED]r today, but this little Alfa will put a smile on your face every time get behind the wheel—or even look at it. At this writing, bidding sits at just over $25,000. The auction ends May 28. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a44002837/1972-alfa-romeo-gtv-2000-bring-a-trailer-auction/
  16. Ivan Toney placed 13 bets on his own club to lose and has been diagnosed with a gambling addiction, the FA's written reasons have revealed.; the Brentford striker was banned from all football activity for eight months last week following breaches of the FA's gambling regulations Ivan Toney placed 13 historical bets on his own club to lose and has been diagnosed with a gambling addiction, as the written reasons for his eight-month ban were revealed by the FA. In the written reasons explaining the eight-month ban the Brentford striker, 27, received last week for breaching the FA's betting rules, it was also revealed: 126 bets were in matches in a competition in which Toney's club had participated in or were eligible to participate in that season. Of those 126 bets, 29 bets involved clubs Toney was registered with or on loan with at the time. 16 of those 29 bets were on Toney's team to win 15 different matches - and Toney played in 11 of these games and was an unused substitute in another. 13 bets of the 29 bets were on Toney's own team to lose in seven different matches between August 22, 2017 and March 3, 2018 - but Toney did not play in any of those matches 11 of the 13 bets were against Newcastle while Toney was on loan at another club. The other two bets related to a game between Wigan vs Aston Villa while Toney was on loan at Wigan but he was not part of the squad. There was also a breach of FA Rule E8.2 on insider information when on March 29, 2018 Toney told a friend he would be starting in his club's next match. Toney argued it was widely known he was likely to play but accepted it as a breach of the rules. Toney admitted lying to investigators on more than one occasion after he initially denied he had bet on football. The England international admitted 232 breaches of betting rules between February 2017 and January 2021 and was banned from all football activity until 17 January and fined £50,000. He can return to training on 17 September. According to the FA's document, had Toney not pleaded guilty to the charges against him, the FA would have imposed a 15-month ban starting from the beginning of next season, "to properly reflect the seriousness of the offences admitted including betting on one's own team to lose, albeit he was not playing". By pleading guilty and showing "genuine remorse", however, he is seen to have saved substantial time and cost, leading to a 25 per cent reduction to 11 months. In addition, the independent commission found that "a significant reduction should be made to reflect the diagnosed gambling addiction identified by [psychiatrist] Dr [Philip] Hopley". The document continued: "The lack of control the player has in respect of gambling is clearly a reflection of his diagnosed gambling addiction. The position appears to be that Mr Toney has ceased gambling on football although he still gambles on other sports and casino games. "He is determined to address his gambling problem with therapy at the conclusion of this season. Taking all of those matters into account the Commission reduces the sanction by three months to a suspension of eight months. There is no clear and compelling reason to suspend any part of that suspension." In response, Toney tweeted on Friday: "I'll speak soon with no filter." A statement released on Brentford's official website on Friday morning said: "Brentford FC has received and accepted the written reasons of an independent Regulatory Commission that handed Ivan Toney an eight-month ban from all football and football-related activity after he admitted breaches of FA Rule E8, relating to placing bets on football. "The judgement has been published on the FA website. Ivan and Brentford FC accept that offences were committed, and sanctions were inevitable. "The commission noted that none of the charges related to events where Ivan could negatively impact his own team. The detail is included in the written reasons. "The club will now be doing everything possible to provide support to Ivan and his family to deal with the issues raised in this case. Conversations regarding this and all matters relating to the case will remain confidential in order to protect the player and his family. "We consider this matter closed and look forward to welcoming Ivan back to training in September and seeing him representing Brentford in the Premier League in January." 18. At least two people have been killed and 23 injured in a missile strike on a medical clinic in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro, the regional governor says. Of the 23 injured, 21 are in hospital and three are in a serious condition. Two boys aged three and six were also among the wounded, governor Serhiy Lysak said. Russian strikes on Ukraine have intensified in recent weeks ahead of an expected Ukrainian counteroffensive. Mr Zelensky posted a video of the damaged clinic building that showed firefighters at the scene and smoke billowing from the building. "Russian terrorists once again confirm their status of fighters against everything humane and honest," he said. Earlier, Mr Lysak said the region came under a "mass attack...with missiles and drones" on Thursday night. "It was a very difficult night. It was loud," he said. "Dnipro has suffered." Ukrainian authorities said they shot down 17 missiles and 31 drones launched from Russia overnight. Several drones and missiles hit targets in Dnipro and the eastern city of Kharkiv, including an oil depot. Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, was also targeted and officials said fragments of intercepted drones fell on the roof of a shopping centre, while a house and several cars were damaged. In Russia, a blast damaged a residential and office building in the southern city of Krasnodar, east of Crimea, on Friday morning. The region's governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, said it was caused by two Ukrainian drones: "There is some damage to buildings, but critical infrastructure was not damaged. And most importantly, there were no casualties." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65720853
