PopReach Corporation, PAYDAY: Crime War takes in the exact concept of its PC/ Console counterparts. As a co-op PVE, PVPVE heist shooter the game made its arrival grandiose by promising a on-the-go experience while staying true to its source PAYDAY game. How much it delivers on the promise is something we’ll attempt to discuss and conclude in this PAYDAY: Crime War review. A complete heist of stability PAYDAY: Crime War is not too graphically impressive as we’ll discuss later in this PAYDAY: Crime War review. However, despite not being a looker, the game also has a not-so-stable performance. Graphical bugs, clipping, movement stick freezing for a second and a few dips in FPS are just very common here. Even on mid-high spec devices, this game can’t perform smoothly at all times and that’s an issue. Bearing a PC/ Console hit franchise name on a game bares some responsibilities which weren’t handled with much care in this case. However, there was already an update during our time with the game that fixed some performance issues so it might be safe to assume it could launch at a relatively better-performing state. Graphically the game felt okayish, not impressive or bad. But looking at the modern-day mobile games, the graphics could have been a lot better. The sound effects are fine and go well with the game. Lack of content hurts the launching pad Every online co-op or PVP game at the time of launch is less impressive in terms of content and slowly fills the multiplayer game with content that is understandable and acceptable as well. However, in the case of PAYDAY, it’s exceptionally minimal the amount of content in this game available (although the game is at a very early phase of launch). PAYDAY: Crime War, as mentioned above doesn’t bear a very challenging combat due to which the entire difficulty falls on the objectives which as of now aren’t challenging at all, especially with co-op partners. In order to make the game fun a more intense scenario or objective is required. Most of the game modes in this game are way too easy as you’d just need to barge in take money with a generous time limit and get out and finish some easy-to-kill cops. This needs to change or mix up with either game modes like Cops vs Robbers or more strict time limits. The game isn’t much fun or satisfying however, bear in mind this could all be fixed with future updates or on the launch. link : https://gamingonphone.com/reviews/payday-crime-war-game-review/

In Fort Solis' vision of the year 2080, we've yet to occupy Mars as a species, but corporations have made it a mining and research hub. I bet you can guess how that's going. As a skeleton crew stays behind to work what is essentially a weeks-long graveyard shift on the red planet, a distress call across the facility alerts Jack Leary to an issue within the titular research lab. The game ramps up its drama at a pace that pulled me right in, where early chit-chat and jokes over the radio with his scene partner, Julia Brown's Jessica Appleton, soon grew more stressed as doors appeared sabotaged, then dire as bodies started to pile up. Paced to unfold like a mini-series meant to be marathoned, the central question of what happened on Fort Solis is expertly hidden from full view for nearly the entire game. It's presented in a virtual one-shot style without any loading screens, doling out the next dangling thread at a pace that kept me both guessing and playing. I was impressed by how well it shielded the truth of the matter while simultaneously drip-feeding a lot of details over time. It does this largely through video-gamey methods: optional audio and video logs as well as emails. Though that approach is far from novel, it feels justified in this universe where workers are recording messages to send back to their families on Earth, or cataloging some of the facility's recent dangers to cover their own liability concerns. This ample number of optional clues led me to carefully examine everything I could find--for example, not just the words in an email, but the date it was sent, who wrote it, and whether I'd already seen the other side of the conversation. I was trying to reveal the magician's prestige before they presented it to me. I never did figure it out any sooner than I was meant to, which kept me engaged and ultimately satisfied. Like in a lot of games, it does feel like the story demands you dig through many of these optional clues to have it all make sense. According to in-game stats, I found 92% of all video logs, audio logs, and emails which collectively help flesh out the story considerably, but it seems a few more important details are hiding in that last 8%. Still, I also sense that some of the game's answers aren't found even there, and as someone who enjoys a lingering mystery, I happily made peace with that outcome. There are likely branches you might expect this story to travel down, such as hostile aliens, rogue AI, madness by way of isolation--the usual suspects of a creepy space station. I won't spoil anything here, but I will say that Fort Solis is both structured unlike other stories in this po[CENSORED]r subgenre and also lands on a story that feels novel, while still keeping intact some of the more po[CENSORED]r themes of dystopian futures. Its dramatic unveiling in the final act is both threatening on a massive scale and also so innocuous in its original intent that it's actually tragic. As some in the real world consider the prospect of colonizing Mars, Fort Solis examines why that's even on the table, what pitfalls that might include, and how even well-meaning people can cause catastrophe when we're grappling with the cosmos. It blurs the lines between heroes and villains in asking these questions, making characters complex and its ethical argument nuanced. Those strengths helped me push through some of the game's more frustrating bits related to its gameplay mechanics. Fort Solis is an adventure game, closer to something like Firewatch--complete with the woman on the radio chatting with you as you investigate anomalies--than it is Dead Space. There's nothing wrong with that, but there are a few missteps in its execution. link : https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/fort-solis-review-strife-on-mars/1900-6418105/

SpaceX has shared fresh footage of its Starship static fire last week that saw all engines successfully ignite and only two engines shut down on the massive 33-engine Starship rocket booster. Officially called the Super Heavy, the rocket is responsible for the first stage of the Starship rocket system's flight, and SpaceX has increased the flow of tests on the rocket this month as it aims to test Starship for yet another orbital launch attempt soon. Starship is crucial for both NASA's lunar landings and SpaceX's Starlink constellation and a successful orbital test flight will mark the first major milestone for the rocket, which relies on a complex orbital refueling profit for its Moon and Mars mission architecture. SpaceX's Starship Flight Test 2 All But Certain To Slip From Tentative Deadline The scale of the Starship rocket, which measures 394 feet tall when fully stacked and uses 33 Raptor engines for flight, makes each of its tests a highly anticipated event. SpaceX conducted the first Starship orbital test flight in April, which was a partial success as while the rocket did clear the pad and made it to stage separation, the rest of the test was not so lucky. RELATED STORY Starship Orbital Test Flight Likely In October According To FAA Official Stage separation is the point in flight when a rocket's first and second stages separate, and the April test saw the massive Starship flip in the air multiple times before ground control sent the command for self-destruction. At the same time, several of its engines had stopped functioning during flight, and the massive thrust of the Super Heavy booster laid havoc on the launch site, with nearby towns covered in dust and a deep crater present at the launch site. All this 'excitement' left SpaceX with plenty of work to do before it could attempt the next flight. SpaceX kept up with the pace of rapid development and quickly built and tested a water deluge system for the launch pad, and tests so far indicate that the system is working as expected. link : https://wccftech.com/spacex-shares-fresh-starship-test-fire-footage-as-launch-likely-slips/

link : https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/political-ad-spending-2024-expected-shatter-10-billion-breaking-record-rcna104402 Political ad spending is projected to reach new heights by the end of the 2024 election cycle, eclipsing $10 billion in what would amount to the most expensive two years in political history. AdImpact, a firm that tracks political ad spending, projects that campaigns and outside groups will spend $2.7 billion on ads in the presidential election alone, followed by $2.1 billion on the Senate, $1.7 billion on the House, $361 million on gubernatorial elections and $3.3 billion on other elections. It's no surprise that the presidential race is expected to drive the spending, as it does every election cycle. But the $10.2 billion projection for 2024 would be a 13% increase over the $9 billion spent in 2020, when two self-funding Democratic billionaires unsuccessfully ran for president. And it represents a massive increase from the $2.6 billion spent during the 2016 election cycle. The new projected high comes as ad spending in the Republican race has hit a torrid pace, eclipsing $100 million in GOP presidential primary spending far earlier than in previous elections. Shifting viewing habits and changing demographics among Americans are having some effect on the ad landscape: TV ad spending is projected to make up a slightly smaller piece of the pie this election cycle, while streaming television is projected to make up a slightly larger share and Spanish-language ads are projected to increase 9% from last cycle. Digital ad spending declined from 2020 to 2022 as some major platforms banned political ads for a stretch in part as a response to the spread of misinformation surrounding the 2020 election. AdImpact expects digital spending to increase for the 2024 election cycle compared to 2022, but it is not projected to hit the heights of the last presidential election.

A Mercedes-Maybach version of the GLS-Class is finally in the works. Producer plans to preview the upcoming ultra-luxury, full-size SUV at the Beijing auto show in concept form.A Maybach variant of the largest SUV in Stuttgart’s lineup has been rumored for some time. Final push was the rapid growth of luxury SUV segments as well as the surprise po[CENSORED]rity of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sedan, which debuted two years ago. A replacement for the Maybach 57, the stretched Maybach version of the S-Class was envisioned as a bit of a niche model, but it managed to capture more than a niche following in China and in other markets. That made the decision to invest in a Maybach version of the GLS-Class a little bit easier for Mercedes. Another reason for Stuttgart greenlighting the model has been the rapid proliferation and commercial success of ultra-luxury SUVs such as the long-wheelbase Range Rover SVAutobiography, the Bentley Bentayga and the upcoming Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS-Class will be previewed in near-production form in Beijing, and like the S-Class sedan. It is expected to feature a number of exterior design changes as well as a distinct grille and front fascia. On the inside, the GLS-Class will feature a reworked rear passenger compartment that will buy the rear-seat passengers more legroom, as well as power-reclining seats. After all, the rear passenger compartment will be the main selling point of the Maybachs. It aims to offer first-class comfort geared toward those who employ a chauffeur. When it comes to engines, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS-Class is likely to borrow a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine from the S560, which produces 469 hp in the S-Class. The GLS-Class could also receive the plug-in hybrid powertrain recently announced in the S560e. It pairs a 3.0-liter V6 producing 362 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque with an electric motor that adds an additional 121 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. This version will debut on the S-Class in 2019, and it will have a pure-electric range of 25 miles. How much will all of this goodness cost? Expect this Mercedes-Maybach model to start at around $170,000 and (rapidly) progress from there. This is the same general price range of the Range Rover Autobiography LWB . Fair bit south of the $230,000 starting price of the Bentley Bentayga. The difference in the market may be that the Mercedes-Maybach GLS-Class will lean toward owners of chauffeured cars. On the other side, the Bentayga is more at ease with being owner-driven. And unlike the Range Rover, the GLS Maybach is expected be more on-road biased. This may well be an SUV alternative for those already looking at an S-Class Maybach or its competitors. link : https://www.automotoworld.info/new-mercedes-maybach-gls-class-makes-its-big-suv-luxurious/

On the Thursday night that falls between 18 and 24 June each year, cities all over Sweden go quiet. Stockholm's elegant and bustling streets are empty. Traffic builds on the motorway outside Gothenburg as locals head for the islands. That's when the Swedish countryside calls its people back for a festival celebrating seasonal dishes, fertility and the longest day of the year, held on the Friday closest to the summer solstice. This enchanted event is called Midsummer Eve. "In history, the night before Midsummer Day was one of the year's eight magic nights where you could predict the future, and a sort of magic window to the future was open," said Richard Tellström, an author and expert in Swedish food culture. "You could see, if you were lucky, who you were going to marry. So, Midsummer Eve was a party time for youngsters, not elderly people. Historically, there was a big haymaking feast, important for all people living in the countryside before the 1930s, and today that party has merged with the Midsummer festivities." [jump to recipe] Midsummer is the second biggest holiday in the Swedish calendar, after Christmas Day, and marks the start of Sweden's annual five-week summer holiday season. Flowers are blooming, berries are ripening and a wonderful summer lies ahead. Maypoles, decorated with phallic-like fertility symbols, are wreathed with flowers and raised on the Friday morning, ready to be danced around in the evening. This idea of fertility weaves through the whole event to the extent that 22 March, nine months after Midsummer Eve, is said to be the most common birthday in Sweden. Flower crowns are woven, and long tables, usually covered with a tent or marquee in case of bad weather, are laid with table settings for friends and family. According to ancient Swedish tradition, if you pick seven different flowers and put them under your pillow on Midsummer Eve, you'll dream of your future spouse. Perhaps the most important element of all is the food: tables piled with plates of smoked salmon, pickled herring, meatballs and bowls of new potatoes with a dusting of dill. Such is the importance of these potatoes in particular that Swedish newspapers report on the potato harvest from the start of June, anxious about whether there will be enough and if they will be ready in time. link : https://www.bbc.com/travel/article/20230622-a-celebratory-strawberry-cake-for-swedens-midsummer-festival

Weighing in at around 1kg, the fennec fox is the smallest of all the foxes. As a resident across the Sahara desert and other parts of North Africa the fennec’s long hairs may seem a bit out of place, but what many of us don’t realise is that temperatures in the desert can fall dramatically overnight. Predominately nocturnal, the fennec fox ventures from its underground den at night to find food, keeping warm under its long coat. You can’t deny that fennec foxes are fluffy; they even have hair on their feet to help them to walk across hot sand more effectively, but it’s not the fur that qualified them for the nature’s cutest. You can’t miss the fennec foxes big bat-like ears. These magnificent displays of environmental adaptation allow the fennec fox to pinpoint their prey, even when buried under the shifting sands. Behind that button nose are a set of teeth that belong to a ferocious carnivore and formidable hunter. Even more impressive, the fennec’s ears are lined with blood vessels which act as radiators, helping to regulate and cool the fennec’s body temperature in the hot Sahara sun. link : https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/2GknDGkJX7wQhRwpD1qKjgS/fennec-fox

Tottenham striker Richarlison says he will "seek psychological help" when he returns to England after the international break. Richarlison was pictured in tears after being substituted during Brazil's 5-1 win over Bolivia on Saturday. He said the reaction was down to "getting the things that were happening off the pitch out of my system". Richarlison has scored only four goals in 40 games for Spurs since joining for £60m from Everton last summer. "I went through a turbulent time off the pitch during these past five months," he told Brazilian newspaper O Globo. "Now things are a bit more stable at home. People who only had their eye on my money are no longer close to me. "Things are going to flow now and I'm certain that I will have a good run at Tottenham and will make things happen again. "I'm going to return to England and seek psychological help, from a psychologist, to strengthen my mind. That's what it is about, to come back stronger." Richarlison missed a great chance before being replaced in the 71st minute in the home World Cup qualifier against Bolivia in Belem, and was substituted 64 minutes into Tuesday's 1-0 win over Peru in Lima. O Globo reported that Richarlison has split with long-term agent Renato Velasco. "That moment of sadness wasn't about having played badly," said Richarlison. "In my opinion, I didn't play a bad match in Belem. It was more about getting the things that were happening off the pitch out of my system, which had gotten out of control not because of anything I'd done but because of people close to me." Brazil play World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela on 13 October and Uruguay on 18 October Tottenham, second in the Premier League, host Sheffield United on Saturday. "I think I will be part of the next (Brazil) line-up - that's what I'm working towards," said Richarlison. "It's about doing a good run at Tottenham. I'm going to sit down and talk to them. I need a good run, get into the flow of play and settle in.". link: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66797630

Firefighters who were part of a search and rescue mission in Morocco have spoken of the “devastation” caused by the earthquake. Dom Moore, Brad Rebbeck, Jim Chaston and Jamie Muddle from Kent Fire and Rescue Service provided support after Friday’s 6.8 magnitude earthquake. At least 2,900 people are known to have died. Video footage shows the crew moving rubble and rescuing a dog in a rural area near the High Atlas Mountains. Skip twitter post by Kent Fire and Rescue Service Allow Twitter content? End of twitter post by Kent Fire and Rescue Service Mr Muddle, who provided water and care to the dog, said: “The scenes we’ve come across so far have been really devastating. “Most of the villages that we’ve been to have been built into the sides of the mountain, so as the quake hit, a lot of the rocks and the earth and the rubble from the mountain has slid down on to the villages. “A lot of destruction causing, obviously, a lot of distress and loss of life.” Dom Moore, Brad Rebbeck, Jim Chaston and Jamie Muddle helped rescue a dog from the rubble Watch manager Mr Moore added: “We’ve seen villages that are completely destroyed, total collapse of buildings, devastation across the areas we’ve been searching so far.” The four technical firefighters provided support on the ground with the UK International Search and Rescue Team (UKISAR). Crew manager Mr Rebbeck said their deployment had been “completely different” to their work in Turkey, which was hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in February. “Turkey was city centre, lots of high-rise buildings. But the majority of the devastation out here has happened in more rural areas up in the mountains, which is proving quite difficult to get to,” he said. “They’re all very thin mountain roads, a lot of the roads have been closed through landslides.” link : https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cw4x2z7vd18o

Tower of God: New World is a brand new title inspired by the po[CENSORED]r Tower of God franchise. Staying true to the original universe with the anime storyline adapted into the game, the game features unique RPG characteristics and strategic elements for players to try out. After its global launch on July 26th, Tower of God: New World has garnered favorable initial impressions, significantly impacting players’ choices regarding their engagement with the game. In this review, we will share our early impressions and offer ratings for the gaming experience Tower of God: New World provides. A neat gameplay without much of a hassle It is always the gameplay part that the players will be curious about, and we shall start with that. The gameplay is basic, pretty much what you expect from idle RPGs, a straightforward and familiar gameplay style without too many hurdles for a beginner, who’s helped out with the basic Auto Battle system as well as arranging his team. Apart from the two basic game modes, there are several sections where players can enjoy fighting with their team. lin : https://gamingonphone.com/reviews/tower-of-god-new-world-review-relive-the-webtoon-experience/

This week on Ahsoka, the chase continues. In Episode 4, "Fallen Jedi," Ahsoka and Sabine have crash landed on Seatos and are now on a quest to prevent the bad guys from getting to Thrawn at any cost--by either stealing the star map or by destroying it and preventing anyone from ever using it. Though it could be that not everyone is completely committed to that plan. Warning: The rest of this article is 100% spoilers for the fourth episode of Ahsoka, "Fallen Jedi." This episode revolves around a ticking clock. The bad guys are downloading a hyperspace route from the magic witch orb, which apparently takes a while, and Ahsoka and Sabine have to interrupt the download before it finishes. At first, they wait for the droid Huyang to repair the ship while they consider their options. But Baylan Skoll has sent some of those HK droids and other goons after them, and the repairs are interrupted by a fight scene. The attack sets back the repairs, so Ahsoka and Sabine set out on foot. But they're met by Shin Hati and the mysterious Marrock on the way, and another fight ensues--Ahsoka vs. Marrok, which Ahsoka wins quickly, and Sabine vs. Shin, which lasts longer and ends in a draw because Sabine is now an expert swordswoman. She still can't use the Force with any power, but she may have managed to telekinetically push Shin in the shoulder. While Sabine is stuck battling Shin, Ahsoka confronts Baylan, who mentions knowing Anakin. Baylan does a whole philosophical debate with Ahsoka, basically, and then they fight. Ahsoka manages to remove the orb from the downloader, but Baylan has her pinned when Shin and Sabine finally show up. Ahsoka uses the Force to send Shin flying out of the scene, and Baylan responds by knocking Ahsoka off the edge of a cliff. That leaves Sabine, who is now holding the orb, alone with Baylan, who has a whole villain speech ready for her. He convinces her that the only chance she has at seeing Ezra again is to hand over the orb and come with them--and he promises to be honorable in dealing with her. So Baylan, Shin, and Sabine head to the big hyperspace ring in the sky and fly away. But Hera Syndulla shows up at the last minute, going rogue to try to help. Unfortunately, she only just gets there in time to see the Eye of Sion jump to hyperspace. And then Ahsoka wakes up. But she's no longer on Seatos or anywhere in the physical universe. She's in the World Between Worlds, where she meets a digitally de-aged Anakin Skywalker. He doesn't look great, but it's better than the CGI Luke that was last seen on The Book of Boba Fett. And that cliffhanger is where things wrapped up this week. Let's look at the Easter eggs and, by extension, what some of this wild stuff might mean. And while you're here, don't forget to check out our previous Easter egg guides to Ahsoka. link : https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/star-wars-ahsoka-easter-eggs-9-things-you-missed-in-episode-4-fallen-jedi/2900-4850/

When you have a CEO as powerful as Elon Musk, whose larger-than-life presence is inarguably responsible for a sizable chunk of Tesla's gargantuan market cap, rules related to corporate governance and the separation of power inevitably take a back seat. One such instance of Elon Musk's alleged misuse of Tesla's resources is now coming back to haunt him, replete with a full-fledged investigation by the SEC and the office of the Attorney General (AG) for the Southern District of New York (SDNY). For the benefit of those who might not be aware, the Wall Street Journal disclosed back in July that, as part of the endeavor to construct a lavish glass house for Elon Musk under the auspices of the so-called Project 42, Tesla's resources were used to procure specialized glass worth millions of dollars. In addition, Tesla employees were commissioned to work on the project in secrecy. These developments then prompted a full-fledged investigation from Tesla's board of directors to determine whether the company's resources had been misappropriated and what role, if any, Musk himself played in the saga. link : https://wccftech.com/did-the-secretive-project-42-precipitate-disagreements-between-tesla-former-cfo-zachary-kirkhorn-and-elon-musk/

WASHINGTON — A host of the far-right media outlet Infowars was sentenced Tuesday to 60 days in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Owen Shroyer is one of only a handful of Jan. 6 participants charged with a crime despite having neither entered the Capitol building nor been accused of committing violence or destruction on Capitol grounds. Prosecutors charged Shroyer because he had previously signed a deferred prosecution agreement after he interrupted a congressional hearing in 2019 and had agreed as part of that case not to utter “loud, threatening, or abusive language, or to engage in any disorderly or disruptive conduct, at any place upon the United States Capitol Grounds.” About 1,100 defendants have been charged in connection with the Capitol attack in 2021, and more than 600 have been sentenced, more than 370 of them to periods of incarceration. “Democrats are posing as communists, but we know what they really are: They’re just tyrants; they’re tyrants,” Shroyer said on a bullhorn as he led a crowd to the Capitol on Jan. 6. “And so today, on Jan. 6, we declare death to tyranny! Death to tyrants!” link : https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/infowars-host-owen-shroyer-sentenced-jan-6-case-rcna104378
