Outlast 2 is, as you might expect, the sequel to the acclaimed survival horror game Outlast. Here's what you need to know about Outlast 2 including release date, gameplay and the official trailer which you can watch above.
To whet your appetite, Red Barrel's intro line for the game is such: "Outlast 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do."
It's been a while in the making but Outlast 2 is out now, after coming out on 25 April 2017. It's available to play on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Console players can expect to pay ever so slightly more in the UK at least - it's currently £24.99/$29.99 from the PlayStation Store, and £23.99/$29.99 from the Xbox Store.
If you missed out on the first Outlast and its DLC Outlast: Whistleblower, there's good news there too. As a special launch offer, GOG currently has Outlast and Whistleblower at 80% off for PC, making them a total steal.
Console players can get a good deal too - Amazon has the physical Outlast Trinity boxset, which includes all three titles, for just £29.99/$39.99 on PS4 or Xbox One, only a little more than buying Outlast 2 on its own.
