Yesterday, Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft will receive patch 9.2.5 next Tuesday. The update includes a highly requested feature: cross-faction play. The 17-years-old MMORPG never allowed Alliance and Horde players to group up, but now that's going to change. Here's an official overview of how cross-faction play works in World of Warcraft and where it is not allowed. GROUPING UP To invite members of the opposite faction to a party, players must have a BattleTag or Real ID friendship or be members of a cross-faction World of Warcraft Community. Players will have the ability to find Premade Groups in the Group Finder for dungeons (Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+), raids, rated arena/RBGs, and also Torghast. However, the group leader may restrict the listing to same-faction applicants if they choose. Once in a party, members of the opposite faction will remain unfriendly while outside of instances, though they will be able to communicate through party and raid chat, as well as use /say and /yell within proximity of one another. Upon entering a dungeon, raid, or rated PvP match, however, all members will be friendly and able to assist each other in combat, trade loot, earn shared achievements, and otherwise fully engage the same way members of the same faction do. GUILDS Guilds will remain single-faction, and random matchmade activities like Heroic dungeons, Skirmishes, or Random Battlegrounds will all remain same-faction. LEGACY INSTANCES The functionality of the cross-faction instance feature will also apply to legacy instances and is available at all levels. However, there will be several older instances that cross-faction parties cannot enter due to faction-specific components, and they are: Trial of the Champion Trial of the Crusader Vault of Archavon Icecrown Citadel Baradin Hold Siege of Boralus Battle of Dazar'alor Darkmaul Citadel (Exile's Reach dungeon) The next World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight, was unveiled last month. It will feature a new race (Drachtyr), a new class (Evoker), and the ability to become a Dragonrider. There's no release date yet, but it will likely launch this Fall. https://wccftech.com/world-of-warcraft-lets-alliance-and-horde-players-group-up-next-week/

Lemons are a po[CENSORED]r fruit that are commonly used to enhance the taste of food, or to garnish on plates and glasses. This fruit is rarely consumed directly because it has a very sour taste compared to oranges. In 100 grams of lemon, there are about 29 calories and various nutrients such as carbohydrates, protein, sugar, fiber, potassium, and calcium. Also, lemon contains vitamin A, vitamin B6, and vitamin C, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, as well as various types of antioxidants. In order to get these good benefits, we can consume lemon by mixing it into other foods or drinks such as salads or tea. But if consumed in excess, this fruit will cause side effects. 1. Supports immunity As Nutrients reports, vitamin C is an essential micronutrient that helps maintain the natural and adaptive immune system by supporting various cellular functions. "Lemon is a great source of vitamin C, a nutrient known to support immune health," says dietitian and medical board expert Lauren Manaker, MS, RDN, LDN, CLEC, CPT."Eating lemons can give our bodies a vitamin C boost." 2. Reduce kidney stones "The citric acid in lemons can affect urine pH, making the risk of developing kidney stones less," explains Manaker. As reported by Harvard Health, lemons contain citrate, which is the salt in citric acid. This citrate will bind to calcium and help prevent stone formation. Studies show that drinking half a cup of concentrated lemon juice diluted in water daily can increase urine citrate and reduce the risk of kidney stones. 3. Healthy blood pressure Lemons contain a flavonoid called hesperidin, a chemical compound found in citrus fruits. Hesperidin can help with problems related to blood vessels such as varicose veins, hemorrhoids, or poor circulation. These compounds also help blood vessels work better, reduce inflammation and maintain blood pressure. "Hesperidin consumption is associated with healthy blood pressure," says Manaker. 4. Can trigger tooth erosion Apart from its benefits, lemon is a very acidic fruit. Consuming too much lemon can cause damage to tooth enamel. "Lemon is acidic, and too much acidity on the teeth can lead to tooth erosion," continues Manaker. Tooth erosion is a condition in which the tooth enamel is eroded due to food and drink or acidic substances that come from the body. If you have toothache and pain, especially when eating, or if your teeth are sensitive, try changing your eating and drinking habits. https://lifestyle.kompas.com/read/2022/05/23/103051020/manfaat-dan-efek-samping-buah-lemon-kata-ahli?page=1

During the latest episode of PCWorld's 'The Full Nerd' webcast series, guests Robert Hallock (AMD Director of Technical Marketing) and Frank Azor (Chief Architect of Gaming Solutions) answered a series of questions and further detailed the Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs and the features we will be seeing on the AM5 platform. AMD Details Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs & AM5 Motherboard Platform Features So there were a range of questions asked and both Robert and Frank did an absolutely splendid job in answering them to the folks over at PCWorld. We have slowly been getting more details on the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU and AM5 platform showcased since the Computex 2022 unveil and well, let's start off with the latest information. Some of the things that were confirmed in the interview include: Ryzen 7000 is 125W TDP / 170W Package Power Ryzen 7000 5.5 GHz Demo Was In Stock-Spec (No Overclock) Ryzen 7000 Double L2 Cache is IPC-Benefit Ryzen 7000 CPUs Have 28 PCIe Gen 5 lanes (24 Usable) 1:1 Infinity Fabric Clock (No Frequencies Mentioned) B650 Motherboards will support overclocking (like B550 series) Integrated RDNA 2 GPU supports both Video encode/decode Integrated RDNA 2 GPU For Commercial/Diagnostic Purposes Smart Access Storage Details (Requirements Highlighted) AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU Package Power: 125W TDP For Ryzen 7000 CPUs & 170W Package Power For AM5 Socket First of all, the TDP (Thermal Dissipation Power) figures for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs are going to be 125W while the PPT (Package Power Tracking) is going to be 170W. AMD provided this information in a reply to whether the 170W figure was an actual TDP for the upcoming chips or an upper-bound limit for the package. As per AMD, this is an increase of around 28W over the AM4 package power limit (PPT) which was 142W while the CPUs had a TDP of 105W. According to AMD, motherboard manufacturers will now be able to deploy more premium power characteristics on their motherboards which should allow for better overclocking opportunities for enthusiasts and overclockers. So what we want to clarify is that it's a 170 Watt socket power which with AMD, that spec is PPT (Package Power) for us. That doesn't mean that every CPU is going to go up to 170 Watts but it's 30 (Watt) higher than the socket AM4 power cap which was a 142 (watts). And we did this to mainly improve multi-thread performance as many of the core count chips were actually held back in overall compute performance by relatively modest socket power. The other point that I want to make is that by raising the minimum required socket power or minimum spec, you also raise the power delivery with every motherboard built to that spec so you get more robust power characteristics on all the boards which we are pretty excited about as well, It should be good for people who want to experiment with overclocking, people who appreciate premium board designs. Robert Hallock (AMD Director of Technical Marketing) Furthermore, Robert confirmed that the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs feature a total of 28 PCIe Gen 5 lanes, confirming our previous leaks. The thing is that out of those 28 lanes, only 24 are usable by the discrete GPU and M.2 storage devices since the rest of the four lanes are connected to the 600 series PCH. As for the chipsets themselves, Robert also confirmed that B650 motherboards will be fully supportive of overclocking like their B*50-class predecessors. We have more information on that and the B650E chipsets here. AMD Ryzen 7000 5.5 GHz CPU Demo Was On Stock Spec, No Overclocking Or Premium Components Used As for the 5.5 GHz clock speed gaming demo, Robert reassured that the frequencies were entirely on stock spec. The motherboard used was a reference X670 design and the cooling was a standard ASETEK 280mm AIO cooler. It is also obvious that no overclocking was involved since the clocks varied between 5.1 to 5.5 GHz.AMD showcased some insanely fast frequencies with the same Ryzen 7000 CPU sample hitting up to 5.52 GHz but we did see some variation in the clock speeds which started at 5.1 GHz and went up to the max 5.52 GHz speed which everyone is talking about. Interestingly, Robert states that in the respective game demo, they saw most of the threads clocking up to 5.5 GHz (that's 32 threads for the prototype that was used). The 16-core Ryzen 7000 prototype was produced around Late April or Early May so AMD could still squeeze more headroom out of this chip if they want to or just let overclockers do the job.

Garbage is always synonymous as a negative and useless thing. In fact, if we can use it well, then waste can actually become something more valuable. This concept was later applied by a beauty brand, The Body Shop, by turning waste into beautiful and of course useful items. So, to make waste more useful while reducing waste, The Body Shop has also opened a Change-making Beauty Store in Indonesia. This is the latest store concept carried by The Body Shop, where almost 100 percent of the materials are made from sustainable materials. In building it, The Body Shop also collaborates with social impact business partners who have the same vision and mission about waste and sustainability. "The Body Shop has always been committed to environmental issues and is the first beauty brand in Indonesia that is fully committed to a sustainable program." This is the statement of Executive Chairperson & Owner of The Body Shop Indonesia, Suzy Hutomo, in the launching of The Body Shop's newest outlet at Kota Kasablanka Mall, South Jakarta, Thursday (19/5/2022). "As you can see, almost 100 percent of the materials used to build it are made from recycled materials that we process and reuse." "This proves that reuse, recycle, and upcycle are concepts that can be made beautiful and artistic, useful, and help reduce waste," he continued. Using trash and used goods Some of the materials used to build the Change-making Beauty Store are made from former wooden pallets used to package products. There are also cigarette butts, as well as used plastic product packaging that is recycled into reusable materials. According to Suzy, social impact business partners is one of the most important keys that enabled The Body Shop Indonesia to give birth to the first Change-making Beauty Store. These partners make a big contribution in processing and making useless waste into an item that has a function, as well as a high aesthetic value. For example, Parongpong Raw Lab, the first recycling and waste management organization in Indonesia, can process cigarette butts into placemats and containers for displaying products. Then, the collaboration with eCollabo8 produced display tables and makeup containers from used plastic bottles from The Body Shop which were returned by consumers within the framework of the Bring Back Our Bottle program. Apart from being made from sustainable materials, the Change-making Beauty Store also has an area for refilling The Body Shop products such as soap, shampoo, and hand soap. Not only that, there are many other interesting areas that can be visited such as Act Corner, which is an important part in the role of voicing changes in lifestyle to become more sustainable. Globally, The Body Shop also wants to invite its consumers to explore, connect, and be educated on various activism campaigns that drive meaningful change, especially in terms of the environment. https://lifestyle.kompas.com/read/2022/05/21/060000420/manfaatkan-sampah-gerai-baru-the-body-shop-lebih-ramah-lingkungan

Apple adheres to strict quality control measures for its products. This means that if a supplier wants consistent orders from the technology giant, which can also mean a lucrative financial period for that supplier, it needs to maintain a near-flawless record when mass producing certain parts. BOE, a display manufacturer, likely did not read the memo thoroughly because it was reportedly caught cutting corners with iPhone 13 displays, causing it to lose iPhone 14 orders. BOE Was Apparently Changing the Circuit Width of the iPhone 13’s Display’s Transistors to Conserve Manufacturing Costs A deal worth 30 million iPhone 14 display orders might have gone down the drain this month for BOE, as The Elec reports that the Chinese display maker was cutting corners with the iPhone 13 panels. Details claim the company was altering the circuit width of the iPhone 13’s display’s thin-film transistors without informing Apple. Later, a BOE executive was sent to Apple’s Cupertino HQ to clarify the incident, but the report states that neither the executive nor the firm received any iPhone 14 orders. With the iPhone 14 series expected to launch this September, Apple is required to make adjustments in its display supply chain now that it has taken out BOE from the list. With that being said, the 30 million display orders will likely be split between LG and Samsung. Samsung may be tasked with supplying Apple with 6.1-inch orders of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, along with the 6.7-inch orders of the iPhone 14 Max, while LG is said to fulfill the remaining for the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The ‘Pro’ versions could again get exclusive LTPO OLED technology, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will retain LTPS panels like the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. There is no telling if Apple will add BOE again after the latter was caught or if it will be open to the idea of adding another supplier. In short, this incident will serve as a warning to potential partners not to cheat with orders, or there will be severe consequences.

Website TechPowerUp contends that the unreleased, but upcoming AMD X670, X670E, and B650 chipsets for Ryzen 7000 'Raphael' Desktop CPUs will be revealed at Computex 2022, next week. AMD X670E, X670, B650 Chipsets To Be Detailed Next Week at Computex 2022, Next-Gen AM5 Platform For Ryzen 7000 'Raphael' Desktop CPUs Further claims made by the website include that the X670 series will offer a high-tier X670E (E for Extreme) chipset that will provide PCIe Express Gen 5.0 support that will aid both storage & GPUs. The X670 standard chipset is planned to support both PCIe Gen 4.0 and PCIe Gen 5.0 support but that would be a vendor-specific decision while the X670E chipset will have mandatory PCIe Gen 5.0 support for both devices. All new chips will require the more recent DDR5 memory, which is costly at the moment. We can now tell you that the X670E will be a special SKU where the E stands for Extreme. Based on the information we’ve managed to source, it doesn’t seem to differ from the X670 chipset in terms of functionality or features. However, all X670E motherboards must offer PCIe 5.0 connectivity to both the GPU and the M.2 NVMe SSD slot or possibly slots, whereas X670 based motherboards can use PCIe 4.0 instead […] Similar rumors are floating in tech media circles. It adds a little more validity to the claim, but questions about TechPowerUp's post are now arising. The website has pulled the story as well as on their Twitter page. Our editor, Hassan Mujtaba, was also able to confirm a similar report earlier this week which comes from sources close to AMD.The unreleased but planned AMD X670 chipset will offer dual Promontory 21 chipsets made by ASMedia, which was confirmed in a story on rival Tom's Hardware over a month ago. The overall consensus will be that users will be expected to pay a high price for the following three available chipsets, especially with the high costs of utilizing DDR5 memory currently. We will update this story as more information develops. The AMD open-source development team has continued their hard work to incorporate not only recent advancements, such as VCN4 and GFX11 but has also worked to usher in support for the upcoming RDNA 3 GPU line coming out later this year. The team has added further support in the upcoming Linux kernel and the Mesa 22.2 version. Open-source developers for the AMD Radeon Linux graphics driver prepare the Mesa Project for new support for RDNA 3 GPUs, Also Let Graphics Users Disable Infinity Cache on RDNA 2 GPUs Recently, Marek Olsak, one of the developers of AMD RadeonSI, has added a new merge to the website Freedesktop that will alter the Gallium3D driver heap handling as well as integrate new functionalities. The merge is connected to the new updates for AMD hardware released later this year. The patches set BIG_PAGE to the attribute ring of the GFX11, which is the graphics block for the next-gen RDNA3 technology. The code also allows RadeonSI to utilize the flag, "AMDGPU_GEM_CREATE_DISCARDABLE," found in AMD's recent AMDGPU driver code for the Linux kernel. Michael Larabel of Phoronix explains that "the AMDGPU_GEM_CREATE_DISCARDABLE flag for GEM memory management allows for creating the buffer object in dedicated video memory. Still, evictions under memory pressure or similar scenarios will cause it to be discarded rather than preserving/copying it to slower system memory/placement in other memory." Linux end-users that want to test and evaluate the newest features from the recent merge should note that the AMD Infinity Cache can now be disabled manually. Readers will remember that AMD revealed their Infinity Cache technology with the current RDNA2 graphics cards to increase efficiency and performance with games with much higher resolutions. AMD Infinity Cache offers up to 3.25 times the bandwidth for GDDR6 video memory in some designations. The disabling of the AMD Infinity Cache comes as a surprise, however, due to the company's heavy promotion of the technology when introducing the new Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. To disable the Infinity Cache, users will need to locate the AMD_DEBUG=mall_noalloc debug choice in Mesa 22.2-devel & a compatible AMDGPU driver that supports AMDGPU_VM_PAGE_NOALLOC. The ability to disable Users should only use the AMD Infinity Cache disabling for profiling or debugging purposes. Anyone who deactivates the feature can see its effect while running certain games, but individuals with experience should only activate it. The newest Mesa 22.2 will release in August 2022 and is anticipated to be the minimum requirement for use with AMD's RDNA3 graphics cards.

ASUS has launched its second graphics card designed in collaboration with Noctua, the GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua OC Edition. ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua Edition Graphics Card Delivers Great Cooling Performance With Outstanding Acoustics Press Release: Following the resounding success of the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition, the Noctua Edition of ASUS’ GeForce RTX 3080 is the second graphics card to feature Noctua fans and a heatsink that has been co-engineered by Noctua. By switching from the stock three 92mm fans to two of Noctua’s award-winning NF-A12x25 120mm units and by tailoring the heatsink to make the most out of the fans’ superior aerodynamic performance, thermals and acoustics of ASUS’ original TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 could be improved significantly for the Noctua Edition, making it the quietest card in its class. Like the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition card, the new GeForce RTX 3080 model uses Noctua’s award-winning, state-of-the-art NF-A12x25 120mm fans and a tailored heatsink that was custom-designed to make the best use of the fans’ superior airflow and static pressure characteristics. Compared to the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080, the Noctua Edition runs significantly quieter while, at the same time, achieving lower GPU and memory (VRAM) temperatures. At typical auto-speed fan settings, the Noctua Edition runs 4.5 dB(A) quieter while achieving 3°C lower GPU temperatures and 14°C lower VRAM temperatures. When running the fans at their maximum speed, like it might be required in worst-case situations such as when fully stressing the card in poorly ventilated cases or with very high ambient temperatures, the reduction in noise levels is 8.6 dB(A) and the memory still runs 12°C cooler. At medium fan speeds, the Noctua Edition improves both GPU and VRAM temperatures while running more than 4dB(A) quieter. The picture at low fan speeds is similar with slightly lower GPU temperatures, significantly reduced memory temperatures, and a reduction in noise levels of 2.3dB(A), making the already quiet original ASUS TUF Gaming card even quieter. In sum, the Noctua Edition provides lower noise levels across the entire speed range with the most prominent improvement of almost 9dB(A) at maximum fan speed and 2-5dB(A) at lower speeds. The reduced noise levels go hand in hand with lower GPU temperatures as well as substantial reductions in memory temperature of up to 22°C. The reduction in memory temperatures was made possible by changing the heatsink design from a layout with separate heatsinks on the VRAM to one that uses a bigger copper base that covers not only the GPU but also the VRAM.This way, via the copper base and six heat pipes, the heat emitted by the memory chips is transferred to the same large fin-stacks as the heat emitted by the GPU. Cooled by the two NF-A12x25 fans, these large heatsinks are much more efficient than the separate smaller ones used on the original design, which leads to a better balance between GPU and VRAM temperatures and avoids situations where memory cooling may become a bottleneck Like the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition, the GeForce RTX 3080 model features a dual BIOS that enables customers to switch between a performance profile that provides the lowest GPU temperatures and a quiet profile that allows slightly higher temperatures in order to achieve the best possible acoustics. Catering to the demands of Noctua’s customers, the quiet profile is set as the default. For enthusiast users who want to take things one step further, the included ASUS GPU Tweak II software, as well as the upcoming, beta-version GPU Tweak III, provide extra possibilities such as setting custom fan curves or undervolting.Reducing the thermal output of the card, undervolting can make it possible to let the card run even quieter. For example, reducing the GPU voltage by around 100mV can drop the GPU temperatures by several degrees and thereby widen the thermal margin to slow the fans down even further. The GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua Edition features a semi-passive fan control setup (ASUS 0dB technology) that can switch the fans off completely whenever the GPU temperature goes below 50°C. This means that in typical configurations with low to moderate ambient temperatures and well-ventilated cases, the card can run entirely fanless at lower GPU loads such as during office productivity tasks, web browsing, or even light gaming. Even at high GPU loads such as during gaming or benchmarking, the fan speeds will stay extremely low as long as the ambient temperature inside the case isn’t excessive. In summary, the ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua Edition is the ideal card for quiet cooling enthusiasts who demand serious GPU performance without sacrificing the quietness of operation.
