Which is a slightly contradictory way to advance that changes are going to occur in the hardware of the Japanese console. With PS5, DualSense was born, the official brand that came to define a new generation of gamepads, after four DualShock models that had accompanied the company since its beginnings in video games. Well, it seems that Sony all the 2020 innovations of that PS5 controller are falling a bit short and they have thought that together with the most powerful model they are going to bring us a reinterpretation of the brand's gamepad.

This is stated by some leakers who, in the last few hours, have published that not only PS5 Pro will become a reality today, even if only through its performance figures, but that the console's controller will also be adapted with certain updates. We understand that at the design level Sony is not going to touch anything but another thing is what is inside, all the mechanisms that allow haptic perception in games, etc.

This update could involve a redesign of all those internal mechanisms to make a gamepad somewhat lighter, with longer battery life and more hours of play. At the end of the day, four years of validity in the market means that many of its components can be changed for others that are more efficient and capable of offering the same performance with another more adjusted arrangement, not so much in price (because Sony will not lower this model not a cent), but for performance and durability.

Will today be the announcement of an improved DualSense?

Sony has clearly specified that today is a direct to explain technical issues of PS5, so it is possible that no information about design and other issues of PS5 Pro will appear, which would include everything related to an updated DualSense.
