Dean Ambrose™
Finally, something has become a reality that, in the digital world, was already a more than accepted custom and that platforms like those of Apple or Google that made life and pockets easier for their mobile device users. We are referring to the possibility of creating families of users who will be able to share purchases and, in this case of Steam Families, libraries with all the titles they have purchased or are acquiring over the years. The fact is that until now in the Valve store we had at our disposal a relatively similar option such as library sharing, but it was more a function to allow a user to play with our purchases than a family organization like this. Steam Families, which is now available, will cause this old game sharing option to disappear from the store in the near future. Steam Families for those who live in the same household Valve has made public what the conditions of this Steam Families function will be, which we can basically summarize as being based on great features, which are the following: Share games. Parental control of minor accounts. Supervision of purchases in minors' accounts. The first point will surely be the one that interests you the most because each member of these Steam families will be able to see all the purchases of the participants (maximum six counting the organizer) and play with any purchase, no matter who made it. But yes, there will be limitations. Although we may be able to play a title on two or more devices at the same time, this will only be possible depending on the purchases each member has made for that same release. An example. Imagine that a family of six on Steam has bought God of War three times. In Steam Families it will appear that it is possible to enjoy the Santa Monica Studios title on three devices at the same time. If only two members had purchased it in the general library, the simultaneous devices would be reduced to two. And so on. So no, it is not the panacea and surely for certain games, especially po[CENSORED]r ones or new ones, the only way to play it many at the same time is for each one to acquire their own original copy. Parental Controls within Steam Families Obviously, when talking about families there is the possibility that we have members who are minors. For them, Valve has prepared a series of controls that adults can manage, and that have to do with limiting access to games that do not correspond to those of their age, or marking time slots in which they can connect and play with the computer for minors. Finally, these minor accounts will not be able to purchase games or downloadable content without the supervision of an adult and each movement that occurs in the store will have to be validated by the account of the organizer, or the rest of the adults. Because these profiles also have the power to control at all times whether new members are invited or whether others are eliminated. Except the children, of course. Then, getting everything to load correctly is another story. https://hardzone.es/noticias/juegos/steam-families-disponible-para-compartir-compras-juegos/
