This model enters within the laptops focused on the use of AI, by incorporating the NPU Ryzen AI, a trend that all portable manufacturers will follow in the future, and which, at some point, will also reach desktop processors . As for the specifications, as we can see in this advertising brochure, the equipment will be available with a maximum of 64 GB of DDR5 memory, it has the last generation Wi-Fi support (without specifying if it is Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7). The screen has a maximum shine of 400 Nits, is manufactured with recycled elements (maintaining Lenovo's commitment to the environment) and is designed to offer long autonomy. Focusing the name, the term pro means that AMD will have two versions of the Apu Strix Point when it is launched. Regarding the 5 model number, it points out that the architecture used is Zen 5, an architecture that should launch with the Ryzen 9050, but, if this information is true, it means that AMD has changed its plans. This new APUS range must incorporate up to 12 Zen 5 and Zen 5C nuclei and with 16 RDNA 3 computing units and the new Neural Process Units (NPU) XDNA 2 AI with up to 50 calculation power tops. It should be remembered that the requirements that Microsoft established to use co -pilot locally in Windows places this figure in 40 tops, the same figure that currently offers the new generation of Qualcomm processors with ARM architecture and that Intel should offer is the next generation of processors of the Core Ultra range that will present throughout this year.
