Noticias ALEJANDRO
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the latest installment in the po[CENSORED]r crossover fighting game franchise, disappointed the community for multiple design decisions. Beyond the absence of mythical characters and some questionable mechanics, much of the conversation revolved around the horrendous visuals. While the first 2 titles in the saga opted for a beautiful pixelart style and the third featured great 3D modeling with a cel-shading appearance, the fourth installment disappointed with its dated presentation that aged poorly. Even before its release, fans mocked the design of Chun-Li, Dante, and other characters. Although the developers slightly improved the visual aspect, the truth is that Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite never looked good. Now, 7 years later, a po[CENSORED]r streamer and a talented modder joined forces to take the graphics of this fighting title to the next level. In a publication on social networks, Maximilian Dood, po[CENSORED]r YouTuber and streamer specialized in fighting games, announced that he joined forces with WistfulHopes to complete the project and completely change the artistic style of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Although they are in the early stages of production, he explains that the results “are already absolutely incredible.” “Again, I cannot congratulate WistfulHopespor enough for the hard work and talent shown. We are approaching something that really makes me happy and, hopefully, many others who originally averted their eyes from MvCI,” wrote the content creator, who also financed the project. In a chat with IGN, Ryn explains that the most challenging part of development is figuring out the changes Capcom made to the rendering engine; However, he notes that “it's amazing to see hard work pay off.” While there are still many things to do, he hopes that his initiative will motivate other people to make mods for the forgotten fighting video game. The community reacted surprised and praised the work of WistfulHopespor and Maximilian Dood on social networks. Of course, it remains to be seen whether this project will reignite interest in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite in the long term, at least on PC. Right now, it has 50 concurrent players on Steam. But tell us, what do you think of this initiative? Do you think he can revive the fighting game? Let us read you in the comments or in our Discord.
