In the 90s Konami was one of the most important companies in the world. The market for 8 and 16-bit consoles, in addition to portable ones, had opened wide the doors of success thanks to licensed characters such as the Ninja Turtles, biker mice or Tiny Toons but, also, thanks to inventions own like the character in question: Rocket Knight. Don't you remember him?

In total three Rocket Knight games arrived and the first was especially remembered by gamers of the time because it was one of the few occasions in which their platforms looked better than the competing machine, a Super Nintendo that, although many of us It hurt, it had better hardware than SEGA's 16-bit. So as you surely understand, this opossum gentleman has stolen our hearts for 30 years.

Back to the future three games
So we travel to the present, or rather, to the future of those 90s and we find that Konami is no longer what it was, that its releases arrive in dribs and drabs and that it is more concerned with launching old sagas than with inventing new ones, So the news has reached us that the three Rocket Knight Adventures games will have versions on both PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Xbox, until further notice, remains outside the Japanese's plans.

So this pack, called Rocket Knight Adventures Re-Sparked Collection, will include the three games that came out three decades ago: the first of all, the good one, which was Rocket Knight Adventures for Mega Drive, the second, Rocket Knight Adventures 2 as well. for the SEGA console and finally Sparkster for Super Nintendo. The latter was still a fairly free adaptation for SNES of the continuation of the original Mega Drive game.

The pack will not only be distributed in digital format but will have physical editions that will delight collectors, those who want to have the most exclusive with editions that become unique over time. Now, do you know everything they will bring?
