We are in a time in which it is often difficult to keep track of all the game releases, and although we all have a couple written down in the agenda, there are so many platforms and important releases, that sometimes many great games go unnoticed until we We see its official announcement. Do not despair, because in this article we are going to compile the main releases that await us in this month of January, including of course The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.

As a general rule, January has never traditionally been a particularly busy month, but 2024 is getting off to a pretty busy start when it comes to game releases. Without going any further, renowned titles such as Tekken 8, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth or the aforementioned The Last of Us Part II Remastered will arrive this month. However, they are not the only interesting releases for this month, especially on the Indie front with some gems on the way.

Of course, another of the most anticipated titles is Tekken 8, the umpteenth iteration of the fighting classic that in this case arrives for all platforms except Nintendo Switch and is powered by the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine for greater realism.

Another highly anticipated title is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which once again comes to PC and all consoles except the Nintendo Switch. In this case, the developer has decided to maintain the turn-based combat system that we already saw in its 2020 release (Yakuza: Like a Dragon) that was so po[CENSORED]r, but the game will be more focused on the story component.

Apart from these three expected great games, there are also a handful of titles to keep on the radar, especially some Indies that look very good, such as Sovereign Syndicate, a new CRPG that combines a Victorian setting with mythological beasts such as minotaurs or cyclops, or The Night is Grey, a point and click adventure game with 2D animated graphics that looks great for lovers of this genre.
