[X]pErT-
Xiaomi has discarded the POCO HyperOS and Redmi HyperOS development projects to unify the operating system of their brands under Xiaomi's HyperOS, in order to simplify software updates for these devices. The company presented HyperOS at the end of last October, when it commented that this operating system, based on Linux, was designed to bring coherence to the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape, by unifying all the devices in the ecosystem in one only 'software'.This means that the Chinese firm will use its operating system on all its devices, instead of creating a specific and different customization layer for each of its product lines, which will also simplify software updates for these terminals. It is worth mentioning that a few days ago the firm announced its plans to launch HyperOS on its terminals, indicating that it will deploy this OS during the first quarter of the year in the Xiaomi 13, Redmi Note 12 and 12S family, as well as in the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet. POCO F5 owners will also be the first to experience Xiaomi HyperOS. https://www.europapress.es/portaltic/software/noticia-xiaomi-descarta-desarrollo-sistemas-operativos-independientes-redmi-poco-unificarlos-hyperos-20231227112144.html
