[Software]Blasphemous II will have a Collector's Edition that will be bought for it

Without a doubt, Blasphemous II has been one of the most important releases of the year, not only in the indie scene, but in general because it has managed to transcend beyond those independent areas that gamers like so much now. So the creature from The Game Kitchen still has a lifespan for a while and new developments are coming, the kind that will empty the pockets of those of us who are careless.

These changes have nothing to do with the game itself, which is fine as they left it, but rather with those editions that some companies tend to make once success in digital sales allows them to make the leap to the real world. In the case of Blasphemous II he had already given it, but now what we can see on the horizon is even better and more complete.

What a Collector's Edition!
As we tell you, an edition like this Limited Collector's Edition of Blasphemous II is not launched if there is no prior success within the field, especially digital. So the opportunity is offered to those who acquired it and cannot display it, to have their fully physical and functional replica on display, on a shelf, or highlighted in a display case that does justice to the wonder of The Game Kitchen.

The fact is that it has just been announced, by Selecta Play, a Limited Collector's Edition of Blasphemous II that is an ode to gifts and extras. Specifically, and as you can see right below, it will only come to the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions, so all the Xbox, PC and PS4 versions are left behind. Quite a logical decision supported, presumably, by the fact that they are the two ecosystems where the most units have been sold.

This Blaphemous II Limited Collector's Edition comes with the original game in its blister box, an instruction manual, the game soundtrack on CD, a 60+ page game guide, a Mark of Martyrdom, 12 edition CD covers collector, a letter of thanks from the development studio, a set of eight cards, an album of illustrations and a certificate of authenticity.

When can you buy this edition?
At the moment there is no official date, it has only been announced that it will arrive in the spring of 2024, that is, it is just around the corner. Of course, they have not revealed an important detail such as the price, so we have to wait. Based on previous experiences with the same company that sells them, we already told you that it doesn't look like it will be cheap and will easily exceed 100 euros without problems. The opposite would be an absolute surprise.

We are glad that Blasphemous II is burning stages in this way because it means that things have gone very well since it hit stores last August. Spanish talent, in a title with a very local theme and that is allowing a small studio that does things very well to make its way in the future with new proposals that, we hope, have the same success.
