Dean Ambrose™
Apparently, a revealed roadmap shows us Intel's plans for 2024, among which we can see something that catches our attention a little, and that is that, apparently, they will continue betting on dedicated graphics, with the code or name "Battlemage" The latest launch of this type of component has not been a great success, at least by Intel, however, they believe that the new model could work, of which more details are expected to be known in the near future, since its release would be this next year that is about to begin. New dedicated graphics in 2024? Apparently, the new roadmap for this coming 2024 will bring with it the Battlemage, with an Xe2-HPG microarchitecture that will encompass two different GPUs: the BMG-G10 (with a nominal power of up to 225 W) and the BMG-G21 (with a nominal power of up to 150 W). The release, according to Intel itself, is expected to be in the second quarter of 2024, that is, between April and June, although we all know that this is very theoretical and could undergo some change, although we do not believe it will be delayed much longer in that case. It seems that they have everything quite planned and would like to present it as soon as possible. Among the characteristics that we know about these new GPUs we can highlight; X² HPG architecture 56 Xe cores 448 XVE (EU) Each XVE unit consists of 2 shaders 112 MB Adamantine cache 16GB 256-bit GDDR6X video memory Power consumption up to 225W There is not much more data that we have, not even with them we can deduce whether it will be a good launch or a new failure, for now we will have to wait to learn more about them, which will not take long to know, since they intend to market them in less half a year. For now we will settle for the Arc was expected of them. These new integrated graphics cards are designed for both desktop and laptop computers, so we should see different models and versions adapted to each type. And you, what do you expect from these new Intel GPUs? Will they be up to par next year? Or will they lose the battle against AMD, which is becoming very strong. Some sources assure that if all goes well, we could even see these graphs presented at the CES in Las Vegas this coming month of January, something that, personally, I see as very hasty, since there are only a little more than 15 days left, but that, of course, If so, we are not going to object, it would be great news that would surely bring us forward to its launch at the beginning of the second quarter. Intel knows that if it wants to regain and consolidate first place in this sector, it has to turn everything around, and the sooner it does so, the better. A big change is expected in this architecture, let's hope they don't disappoint us. https://hardzone.es/noticias/tarjetas-graficas/escaso-exito-intel-lanzara-graficas-dedicadas-2024/
