Gigabyte has finally launched a PCIe network expansion card, featuring support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 standards.

Gigabyte's "Upgraded" PCIe Network Expansion Card Now Comes With Newer Connectivity Standards Such As The Latest Wi-Fi 7 & Bluetooth

As the adoption of the Wi-Fi 7 standard grows, Gigabyte has joined the list of vendors offering the technology. The company has already showcased several motherboards such as the Z790 AORUS Xtreme X utilizing Wi-Fi 7, & has finally released a network expansion card utilizing the technology. The GC-WIFI7 features high-end capabilities and connectivity that make it the best option for users switching to the new Wi-Fi standard without any compromise in the overall performance.Speaking of specifications, the GC-WIFI7 utilizes 320MHz bandwidth support across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands. Through high bandwidth, the GC-WIFI7 can reach up to 5.8 Gbps transmission speeds.

Moreover, the card also features support for Multi-Link Operation (MLA), which allows it to connect to multiple bands at the same time, enabling devices to simultaneously send and receive data across different frequency bands and channels. For extensive network coverage, the GC-WIFI7 comes with a 2Tx2R antenna that is compatible with both directional and omnidirectional signals. The full features include:

Built-in Wi-Fi 7 module

Supports high-speed wireless connections of up to 5800Mbps

Offers up to 320MHz bandwidth support across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands

MLO (Multi-Link Operation) enables simultaneous connections on two bands

MRU (Multiple RU) enhances interference mitigation and OFDMA efficiency

4K-QAM allows for higher transmission rates, resulting in increased efficiency

Bluetooth 5.3 Compatible

Supports MU-MIMO TX/RX

Complies with IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards

Equipped with an ultra-high gain 2Tx2R antenna, supporting both directional and omnidirectional signals
