Dean Ambrose™ Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Today, December 5, the company Logitech has shown us its new gaming headphones, belonging to the fifth generation of its ASTRO range which would bring very important new features both in audio and connectivity, according to the company. The name of these new helmets would be Logitech G ASTRO A50 X LIGHTSPEED. So let's take a look at them, see how they look and above all, when we will have them available and the money we will have to spend if we want to own them. This is what the new ASTRO A50 This new model of headphones would come in two colors, white and black, along with a base for them. All with a style and components oriented to gaming. So if you are a fan of video games, it may not be a bad self-gift. The company itself tells us three important new features in this new model and generation of helmets. The first of these would be PLAYSYNC technology, which would allow us to switch between consoles (Xbox and Play) and computers, just by pressing a button, without having to reset or modify the Bluetooth connection, just in seconds thanks to a click. On the other hand, we have the PRO-G audio controller, made of graphene and special for high-performance games. We want to try it, to see if we really notice a change. And finally, 24-bit LIGHTSPEED wireless technology, which offers better performance on consoles. We also do not know to what extent, since it is data from the company itself that we have not been able to prove. In summary, these are the 3 main features that, according to Logitech, will make the fifth generation remembered for the change in quality and connectivity that we will receive. Thanks to its base, we can receive synchronized audio and video with great performance and ultra-low latency up to 4K and 120 Hz, using the HDMI 2.1 and USB-C connector. It is difficult to evaluate this type of device without trying it, since the most important thing about them is the sound, and we cannot verify it in text or images. They look good, but for now we can only confirm these news. Regarding the price and release date, we know that we will have it available to everyone automatically at the largest suppliers, so pages like Amazon would have it in stock on launch day, which, according to Logitech, is expected in the first half. 2024, which could be either March or June, do not tell us anything else. Of course, we already know the price, and we would have to pay the amount of 399 euros, which if we want we can already pay, since they are in pre-sale, although that does not guarantee a better price or an earlier date, but hey , if you want to give them as a Christmas gift, even if they are not yet in physical format, they give you the option. And what do you think of these headphones at first glance? Will they be worth the price, or do we have better options for a lower cost? For now, we have to wait. https://hardzone.es/noticias/perifericos/logitech-quinta-generacion-auriculares-gaming-astro/
