[X]pErT- Posted November 30, 2023 Share Posted November 30, 2023 Microsoft will incorporate a new energy saver in Windows 11 , a new setting that will extend battery life and improve its efficiency, both on laptops and desktop computers. The technology company is going to implement a new option in the System settings, related to energy saving, which, once activated, reduces device consumption and improves battery life by limiting some background activities. The option is a new 'battery saving' version that Windows 11 already has, since it is designed for laptops , as Microsoft explains in its Windows Insider blog . It is currently in testing on build 26002, on the Canary channel. The currently available option limits notifications and background activity, and even reduces screen brightness, to extend battery life.
