[Auto] Renault brand names new finance chief

Anne-Helene Andersen, an executive at eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica, will be part of Renault's management committee. She succeeds Vincent Piquet.

 

PARIS -- The Renault brand has named Anne-Helene Andersen as chief financial officer, succeeding Vincent Piquet, who has held the position since March 2022.

Andersen, 44, is currently CFO of Nikon-Essilor, a joint venture of the eyeglass maker EssilorLuxottica and Nikon in Japan. 

She has worked at EssilorLuxottica for 13 years, starting in 2010. Before that, Andersen, a graduate of ESSEC business school in Paris, worked at Arthur Andersen, Danone and Unibail-Rodamco, a real estate company.

Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo has given the Renault brand its own management committee, starting with CEO Fabrice Cambolive. Andersen will join the committee when she starts in her new role on Oct. 9. She will also report to Thierry Pieton, Renault Group CFO.

She becomes a member of the Renault brand management committee. Anne-Hélène Andersen reports hierarchically to Fabrice Cambolive, CEO of Renault brand, and functionally to Thierry Piéton, Chief Financial Officer, Renault Group.

Anne-Hélène Andersen, 44, graduated from ESSEC Business School (Paris, France) in 2002. She started her carrier as a financial auditor at Arthur Andersen in 2000. She joined the Danone Group in 2003, where she held various positions in the finance department for 5 years.

In 2008, Anne-Hélène Andersen joined the real estate company Unibail-Rodamco as Financial Controller. In 2010, she entered EssilorLuxottica, world leader for the design and distribution of optical products. She stayed in the company for 13 years working her way up from financial controller to Mergers & Acquisitions Director.

In 2022, Anne-Hélène was appointed CFO and Executive officer of Nikon-Essilor, a joint-venture between Essilor Luxottica and Nikon Corporation in Japan.
