Gran Bretaña no ha discutido la entrega de cazas Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 1 a Polonia para sustituir a los MiG-29 que volarán a Ucrania

In the middle of last month, Poland approved the shipment of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. It was later reported that Warsaw might receive European Eurofighter Typhoons from the UK instead. But this question has not yet been discussed.

this is what we know
Poland has 30 Soviet MiG-29 fighters in service. They recently participated in a NATO exercise where they successfully exchanged data with fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II aircraft.

Warsaw plans to send some of its fighters to Ukraine and hopes NATO allies will give it surplus planes in return. Specifically, it is the Eurofighter Typhoon of the British Royal Air Force.

The information came to light thanks to a question put by Kevan Jones, a Labor Party MP for North Durham. He asked if the British Ministry of Defense had discussed the possible shipment of Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 1 fighters to Poland. Defense spokesman James Heappey responded that the issue had not yet been raised.

The UK welcomes Poland's decision to provide the Ukrainian Air Force with Soviet-era MiG-29 fighters. The UK is looking into how to support Poland, but talks on the transfer of the Eurofighter Typhoon have not yet taken place.

Typhoon fighters have production batches called Tranche and are divided by upgrades. The Royal Air Force has 30 Tranche 1s in service and is scheduled to retire in 2025.
