[Gadgest] TAI Unveils ANKA 3 Nuclear Bomber-Style B-21 Raider Drone

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has introduced a new drone. The model is called ANKA 3 and it is an eye-catching unmanned aerial vehicle.

We were introduced to the drone last year, when TAI released the first images of Northrop Grumman's new X-47B-style Anka-3 stealth drone. Now, the company has shown a real photo that captures the new drone.

The ANKA 3 is equipped with a turbofan engine. The drone's specifications are being kept secret, but it is known to have a maximum takeoff weight of around 7,000kg.

The novelty is given by the "flying wing" scheme. In this sense, it resembles a new generation B-21 Raider nuclear bomber, developed by Northrop Grumman. Speaking strictly of drones, the range of the American company includes the Northrop X-47B with a similar design.

The photo of the ANKA 3 was posted by Temel Kotil, TAI's CEO, along with images of the fifth-generation fighter, which recently passed another test. The first flight of the drone will take place in 2023.
