[Gadgest] LG V30 2017 receives Android 13 operating system thanks to Lineage OS firmware

The developers of the Lineage OS software have released a firmware for a very old LG smartphone. The case is available for the LG V30.

The LG V30 is the latest flagship from the South Korean company without AI Vision and AI Voice smart features. The smartphone was presented on the last day of summer 2017, but it did not go on sale until the beginning of December.

The six-year-old flagship shipped with Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box, but was eventually updated to Android 9.0 Pie. It is now available with Android 13 as part of the Lineage OS 20 software.

The LG V30 features a 6" Quad HD screen, a 16 MP + 13 MP main camera and a 3,300mAh battery. The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 835 chip. The flagship case features IP68 and MIL protection -STD-810G.
