Placed on a table, a group of cell phones from this era and from different brands would look very similar. If the same thing had been done years ago, it would have been different because the sizes, shapes and screens were different. And although the current ones look apparently the same, inside they are different and therefore the use that can be given to them varies.

A few days ago, the most recent series presented by the South Korean company Samsung, the s10, was sold in the country. This has a special meaning since with it they celebrate what they call “10 years of innovation”, since in 2009 a cell phone from the Galaxy S series was launched for the first time. The objective then was clear: to compete with the iPhone.

As for the South Korean company the name is Wireless PowerShare. This charges other smartphones with Qi certification (that of wireless charging), that is, you can put an iPhone XS on top of that Samsung and the Apple one charges. This function also serves to power so-called wearables or wearable devices, such as the Galaxy Buds (wireless headphones) and its smart watch, the Galaxy Watch Active.

And just as this team has something that others would envy, its competitors have characteristics that it does not (see boxes), with the disadvantage of having come out months before, in the case of Apple, five, and in the case of Huawei, four.

This Huawei team, the Mate 20 Pro, was recognized as the Best Smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 event in Barcelona (the S10+ did not participate); Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) received the award from the GSMA, the organization that presides over the event.

And although the Samsung S10+ is 4,100 mAh, the screen of this equipment, due to its characteristics, requires a higher battery consumption, which is why Huawei is the winner in this regard.
