With Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU, Ryzen 9 7950X3D is 5.6% faster in gaming than Core i9-13900K. This is based on a selection of games at 1080p resolution. Both systems were equipped with 2x16GB DDR5-6000 memory. With the RTX 4090 GPU in play, the gap widens to 6% in favor of Ryzen 9 7950X3D, and up to 16% compared to the 7950X.

The review guide also reveals synthetic benchmark data for the CPU. It appears to confirm Ryzen wins in 7zip, but Intel CPU will still be faster in DolphinBench, Cinebench R23 or Geekbench:

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D is launching next week at $699. This is the original price of the 7950X CPU from last year, but AMD’s CPU is now much cheaper (can be found for around $589). Such a small performance gap may not convince gamers to choose Ryzen 9 over Intel Core i9-13900K, which retails at $569.
