Virtual reality continues to grow by leaps and bounds. And traditional computer companies, and especially hardware companies, already have to think about it.

A clear example of how one of them accompanies innovation is Logitech. They have recently released a developer package called 'BRIDGE SDK'.

This kit includes a keyboard that allows you to enter text in virtual reality environments, as well as an accessory called the Vive Tracker, which is inserted near the keyboard. It is 100% compatible with apps that use the SteamVR environment.

Logitech apparently with this measure is trying to ensure that the physical keyboards that have been accompanying us for decades are not lost in this maelstrom of new inventions and advances in virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies.

His goal is that both in reality and in virtual reality, entering letters, numbers and symbols from a keyboard feels as natural as possible.

As Logitech spokesmen have commented, the BRIDGE SDK will allow, through software development, to change the appearance and way of operating of the keyboard in what will be the virtual reality environment where it is in operation.

It is in beta testing and only about fifty lucky developers will be able to access to work with it, after paying a bonus of $150 dollars each.
