In the month of February 2022, sales of new electric cars in Spain have accumulated a total of 2,858 units. A volume of registrations that represents a growth of 154.04% in relation to the same period of time last year. Until February, the market share of the electric vehicle stood at 4%.

The electric car continues to gain prominence in the Spanish car market. Although they still represent a small portion of total registrations, there is no doubt that electric mobility will be one of the pillars on which the automotive industry will be based in the coming years. In the month of February 2022, sales of electric cars in Spain reached 2,858 units , which represents an increase of 154.04% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The accumulated data is equally positive. Between the months of January and February, the registrations of new electric cars accumulated a total of 5,046 units, 189.50% more than in 2021. Until February, the market share of the electric vehicle reached 4.02%.
