SougarLord
Link: https://www.abc.es/espana/abci-tezanos-aupa-psoe-tras-indultos-pp-retroceso-y-alza-202107211134_noticia.html The CIS barometer for July predicts that the PSOE would achieve 28.6 percent of the vote if general elections were held today, 1.2 points more than a month ago. The PP, on the other hand, would fall half a point to 23.4 percent in benefit of Vox, which grows from 13 to 13.6 percent. United We can suffer a significant fall of almost a point and a half (it remains at 10.6 percent of the vote) and Ciudadanos remains stagnant with around 5.5 percent of the vote. The one published today is the first barometer of the CIS, led by the socialist José Félix Tezanos, since the Government granted pardons to the procés' independence leaders. It also takes into account the remodeling of the Executive carried out by Pedro Sánchez on July 10, since the interviews were carried out between July 2 and 15. With the data it offers, the distance between the PP and the PSOE widens after the smallest difference between the two registered in June. Specifically, the po[CENSORED]r were in June 3.5 points behind the socialists after sustained growth in the previous months. However, this trend was broken in July and between the two there is now 5.2 percentage points of difference. In the last year, the PP registered its minimum in the CIS barometer in March, when it was only estimated at 17.9 percent of the vote. With the regional elections in Madrid in between, in the following three months they managed to grow up to six points, reaching their maximum in June. The main beneficiary of the fall of the PP would be Vox, which grows somewhat more than everything that the formation chaired by Pablo Casado loses. Specifically, they go from a 13 percent vote estimate in June to 13.6 percent this month. Santiago Abascal's party maintained a downward trend since April, when it achieved its maximum vote estimate (15.4 percent), which coincided with the rise of the PP. A similar transfer occurs on the left: the growth of the PSOE (1.2 points more) causes a drop to Podemos of 1.4 points (it goes from the 12 percent estimate to 10.6). Ciudadanos, meanwhile, remains stagnant at 5.5 percent of the vote (5.6 in June and 5.3 in May).
