tpm windows 11 2.0

Suddenly, everyone needs a TPM 2.0 because Windows 11 asks for it. And that has made the prices in computer product stores rise.

One of the requirements that Windows 11 asks to be installed is the TPM 2.0 protocol for security reasons. That would not be a problem if it weren't for asking for it despite having very moderate minimum requirements, TPM 2.0 being the most advanced because it is a protocol that was not introduced until 2016.

If your computer is only a few years old, you have to put some hardware into it to have Windows 11 and it is not cheap

The TPM 2.0 protocol is not something very standardized or used. Many CPUs have it, but as of 2016 and many do not have it activated as standard. This is what is causing many users to believe that they cannot install Windows 11. But equally, the TPM 2.0 protocol is not widespread enough to ask for it in order to install an operating system, which conflicts with Microsoft's philosophy of making as many users as possible can access Windows in order to try to charge for services and apps.

It is true that there are adapters to have TPM 2.0 and thus install Windows 11. But in the first place, they were not very po[CENSORED]r or in demand. And secondly, Windows 11 has skyrocketed its demand amid a shortage of components. That has caused the average price of a converter on eBay to quadruple as you see below.

And really, that is the biggest impediment to installing Windows 11 is the TPM 2.0, which is going to give a lot to talk about in the coming days. Overnight it has become an important element for many people, and we will have to achieve it if we want to leave Windows 10 before it stops receiving official support. We will have to get an adapter or take advantage of it to change the CPU of our computer.
