nueva actualizacion windows 10 soporte

We will have until 2025 to switch to Windows 11 if we want to have an updated OS on our computer. Microsoft has dated the end of Windows 10 support, after which it will not receive updates by focusing squarely on Windows 11.

While Microsoft said that Windows 10 was going to be the final version of the operating system and that it was not going to receive a completely new version, this no longer appears to be the case. The company's support page indicates that new updates for the Home and Pro versions of Windows 10 will cease on October 14, 2025. That's just over ten years since Microsoft introduced the operating system. That means Windows XP will continue to hold the record for the longest supported version, with 12 years under its belt.

Windows 10 will be out of support for four years

Instead, Microsoft is quickly turning its attention to Windows 11, aka Sun Valley, which we'll likely hear more about next week, June 24. To that is added a recent initial version of the operating system that was leaked online, with which with almost total security, the successor operating system of Windows 10 is almost confirmed and therefore they will end their support in four years.

If someone doesn't like the look of the future operating system, which resembles the Windows 10X operating system with a centralized start menu, it will have more than four years of updates before being forced to jump over security concerns. After that fateful day October 14, 2025, our PC will be at risk of viruses and security vulnerabilities that have been discovered after that date.

There is a chance that Microsoft wants to continue to sell Windows as a service pack platform. It is not uncommon to see Windows 10 licenses that barely reach 10 euros, but they do not include the Office suite or integrated cloud or web development services. We could hope that updating to Windows 11 will be free, but that has yet to be seen and confirmed on June 24, which is when Windows 10 will be seen.
