GIGABYTE has announced the launch of the AORUS XTREME Gen4 AIC SSD, which has an ultra-fast access speed of 28 GB / s. This high-performance, high-capacity drive is comprised of eight 2nd Gen 4TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs with a PHISON PS5018-E18 controller.

 

The AORUS XTREME Gen4 AIC SSD offers transfer bandwidth and access performance through RAID configuration. It stands out for having a state-of-the-art thermal design that includes a heat sink with aluminum fins, an M.2 motherboard to provide passive cooling, ten temperature sensors and a design designed for heat dissipation with its dual active fan.

It integrates 8 sets of 4TB AORUS Gen4 level 7000s SSD drives with PHISON PS5018-E18 controllers. Its RAID configuration provides a capacity of up to 32 TB with a sequential read speed of 28 GB / s.

 

To prevent overheating throttling when operating at high speed, damage or data loss, the AORUS XTREME Gen4 AIC SSD design includes a large aluminum finned heat sink, M.2 motherboard and thermal plate rear to dissipate the heat generated by the SSD during operation. The system's airflow, its large air volume provided by the dual fans, and the thermal vent duct on the baffle plate create active heat dissipation to ensure high performance from the SSD when operating at very high speeds without throttling. .
