[Auto-Moto] Dacia gives up its current logo. What will it be replaced with

The most recent such change took place more than a decade ago, during 2008, if memory serves.

At the very beginning, the new decade can already be said to have been at multiple premieres. The appearance of cars that, until yesterday, did not even exist is only a small slice of a much larger cake, if we are allowed such an expression.

On the list of novelties prepared by the car industry there are even more changes in terms of logos, the companies Kia, Volkswagen, Peugeot and Renault joining, even today, Dacia, in an extremely surprising move.
The company from Mioveni has, starting with June 17, 2021, a new visual identity. In a statement published just a few moments ago, the Romanian manufacturer announces that "it has a new logo, a new emblem and a new color".
Dacia also says that the logo "inspires robustness and stability at first sight; the design of the letters is deliberately minimalist, the letter D is an inverted C, visually expressing both the simplicity and the ingenuity specific to the brand".

"The emblem consists of the letters D and C united like the components of a chain, thus expressing solidity and connection", according to the management of the Dacia company. "The new logo will allow you to easily identify the brand, even remotely."

At the same time, the new visual identity of the Romanian producer from Mioveni brings with it a "new color palette, with a khaki-green shade in the center", which "evokes the closeness to nature", it is also shown in the communiqué published today.

"A series of secondary colors complete the range", according to Dacia. In other words, it is about "three colors from the terrestrial-mineral sphere: dark khaki, the color of terracotta and the shade of sand" and "two contrasting colors: an orange and an intense green".

The new brand identity will be adopted by the various communication channels: online, advertising, brochures starting from June 2021, while the showrooms will gradually display the new brand identity from the first part of next year.

Regarding the range of models, Dacia says that "it will receive the new logo and the new emblem during the second semester of 2022". Extremely soon.
