The next generation will bet, instead, on a supercharged proposal with two turbines, 3.5 liters and six cylinders in V.

Presented to the general public more than six years ago and already undergoing a major facelift, the pride of the Genesis range is being sold these days in different versions and configurations. Among the options that the limousine sold under the name G90 offers to potential customers is a variant with aspirated V8 engine - on gasoline, with a capacity of five liters.

Accompanied by a set of maximum values synonymous with 420 horsepower and 519 Nm, it will remain only a few months in the offer of the rival of Mercedes S-Class & Co.
If the rumors come true, Hyundai's luxury division will soon launch a new generation of the sedan sold under the name Genesis G90. The top of the range in question will bet, instead of the aspirated V8 engine mentioned above, on a gas station with only six cylinders in V and a capacity of only 3.5 liters - but equipped with a supercharging kit with two turbines.

Also used by the GV80, the rival of the Mercedes GLE, it develops somewhere around 375 hp and works, in turn, with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Expected to debut in the coming months, before 2021 becomes history, the new Genesis G90 range could be available for sale along with a fully electric propulsion system. Among the novelties prepared by the limousine in question will be, according to the latest rumors and speculations, a set of retractable handles for doors, all-wheel drive, etc.
