Rareș Bogdan has already positioned himself as a supporter of Florin Cîțu for the position of PNL president. The official of the ruling party expressed in the "Actualitatea" show, moderated by Tudor Mușat, the reasons why the incumbent prime minister should win the internal elections and thus lead the PNL.
"(...) We need a refresh in PNL, we need a less formal style, a direct style. It is a link between generations Florin Cîțu, it is a link between conservatism and progressivism ", Bogdan declared for B1 TV, on Monday evening.
In Bogdan's opinion, Cîțu will not open the door to former members of PSD or ALDE, if he is president of PNL.

"He is a pro-American and a convinced pro-Westerner, a man who does not play backstage games who do not go on 'it's okay like that' or on 'washing' some from PSD or ALDE to enter some public positions only because 'one hand washes the other' and 'both wash the face' ", Bogdan also declared.

"I believe that for Romania and PNL, Florin Cîțu is the solution, a man who works in a team, in no case is he an autocrat and this is very important. And especially, he is a man who wears enemies and who leads wars (...) ", the PNL official also pointed out.
