A few days ago, the entity reported that all delegations will be vaccinated against the coronavirus, after reaching an agreement with the Chinese laboratory Sinovac to receive a donation of 50 thousand doses.

This Friday, the institution shared another great news related to the economic incentives that participants receive. The Conmebol Council approved the increase in the amount that the competition champion will take. In Brazil 2019, the winner (the ‘Canarinha’) pocketed 7.5 million dollars.

In the edition that will start on June 13, the monarch of the Copa América will win a total of 10 million dollars. That is to say, the sports institution gave the green light so that the selection that is enshrined in the final in Colombia (July 10) will receive 2.5 million more compared to the previous edition.
