SougarLord
Last month, NVIDIA released a series of dedicated mining graphics cards, known as CMPs, in order to cater to miners and make room for sales of gamer graphics. The result? Even NVIDIA is surprised by the sales. NVIDIA initially expected a profit of only $ 50 million for its CMP line. But in this short period of time it has tripled it. They have reached 150 million benefits in a short period of time, they have increased it three times, to 150 million dollars. All this with cards that only serve to mine cryptocurrencies. Surprising success of NVIDIA's CMP line NVIDIA's CMP lineup is made up of four card models that share some similarities to existing and past GeForce generations of Nvidia. They do not have any video output so they are not exactly useful for playing video games, and they are more expensive than normal ones. But that does not prevent the miners are taking them in masses A major group of cryptocurrency miners recently placed an order worth millions of dollars for a shipment of CMP GPUs. This move alone accounts for much of the revenue for this NVIDIA division. The order value causes the Ampere and Turing chips to sell for thousands of dollars in the face of such demand. But that matters little to miners because some of the mining operations increasingly demand higher hash rates and the value of cryptocurrencies increases.
