Google confirmed that it has opened its Jetpack card library to allow developers to create screens for wearable devices (also known as body technology) under the Wear OS operating system, thus freeing up its API and opening the possibility of creating card content. no need for pre-installed applications.

The American company announced that any developer will be able to access the Jetpack Tiles Library, a card content library created in 2019 with sliding screen designs with diverse information, as explained in a post on Google's Android developer blog.

The cards run on Wear OS, the Android-based operating system that runs on devices like smart watches and bracelets. These cards are sliding screens that offer services such as time, clock, temperature, a timer or any other service that the developer creates, without the need to use any application.
