Sales in Korea Sales in Korea recorded 37,583 units, a 31 percent increase over February 2020. This sharp increase was due to production disruptions that occurred last year amid the Covid-19 pandemic, along with Strong sales this year of the Sedona and K5 models. Sales outside of Korea Compared to February 2020, sales outside of Korea saw an increase of 2.9 percent to 172,594 units, driven by Sportage and Seltos and Kia Rio. Despite the challenging global business environment due to the ongoing pandemic, Kia will continue to focus on implementing its “Plan S” medium and long-term business strategy, which was renewed in early February this year, as well as building sales momentum. and profitability through new models, including the company's first dedicated BEV model and the K8 sedan.
