Do not use just one cloth If you tend to use just a rag or a single sponge to clean your entire car, it's best to stop right away, and whether you resort to washing with or without water. Using the same material throughout the operation is indeed harmful for the bodywork, because the dirt accumulated at the beginning remains on the cloth, before being spread again, thus causing possible scratches. The best thing is to use a rag in stages, that is to say one to distribute the product, one to degrease, one to polish ... etc, your car will be even more beautiful! Also avoid standard cloths, in favor of microfibers designed for this use, which helps preserve the shine of the paint. Never wash your car in direct sunlight Usually, it's when the beautiful days are back that you feel like washing your car . We do not consider you promised, we are all the same. Except that here, cleaning your vehicle in direct sunlight is not really a good idea, it then considerably warms the body. As a result, the cleaning products dry too quickly, leaving you no time to rinse them properly, which can then leave stains on your bodywork. Your best bet is to shade yourself for the best results, but also to clean your car when the engine is completely cold if you can. Also remember to clean every corner of your car, some having a tendency to forget parts of the body. Always start washing from the top of the vehicle, which will help you avoid soiling an area that you have already cleaned. Simple tips that save time and energy, but that we sometimes tend to forget!
