HiTLeR Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 A young French man would have almost fulfilled his dream of playing football and participating in the European League if the club had not discovered at the last minute that his CV was fake, after he came very close to signing a professional contract with one of the clubs participating in the tournament. In an attempt to deceive a number of the largest clubs in Europe, French Gregory Axelrod created a fake website, which included incorrect reports about many matches he played, along with a fabricated "biography" about the clubs he played for, and copies of match reports in newspapers that included the name of the attacker. Nicholas Anelka to paste his name in his place. And according to the British newspaper "The Sun", Gregory took advantage of his playing for the amateur team in Paris Saint-Germain, which many football experts describe as "the weakest in all of France", to try to persuade football clubs to join him. Gregory succeeded in drawing the attention of the Bulgarian team, "CSKA Sofia", the Bulgarian competitor in the European League, and was close to signing with the club, but fans from Paris Saint-Germain revealed the false information related to the player. In an interview with the British newspaper "Daily Mail", Gregory explained that a CSKA Sophia fan contacted members of the Paris Saint-Germain forum, and knew from them that they do not know me at all. Thus, the Bulgarian fan contacted the media, revealing the club's intention to sign a "fake player", which made the team ask Gregory to return to France. It is worth noting that the Bulgarian club had published promotional photos of Gregory wearing the team's shirt, as an introduction to announcing the deal, before deleting it later. 2 Quote
