The computer and the mobile phone are the two most used devices today. So much so, that the need to have both synchronized has been increasing over time, hence more and more people who want to be able to forget about their mobile when they sit in front of the computer. With the launch of Windows 10, Microsoft incorporated a tool that allows us to synchronize our phone with the computer that is now being improved to offer other options.

Today, through the Microsoft Your Phone application it is possible to leave the mobile phone in our pocket when we turn on our computer. In this way, it is possible to receive notifications in Windows 10 every time we receive an SMS, WhatsApp message, emails and even make and receive calls through the computer. Your Phone also allows us to access the images in the mobile gallery from the PC itself.

Of course, for all this, before we will have to have the Your Phone Companion app installed on our Android mobile and have accepted all the necessary permissions so that it can access our contacts, notifications, etc.

Now, new reports indicate that Microsoft is working on improving the Your Phone tool for Windows 10 and the new version will allow not only to receive all notifications, messages and make calls from the PC, but it will also allow access to certain phone settings that we can modify and configure at will from the PC.

Pronto podrás cambiar algunos ajustes del móvil desde Windows 10

Specifically, the new version of the tool will have a new function that could be called Device Indicators and that would allow us to see at a glance if our Android phone is connected to a WiFi network or has Do Not Disturb Mode activated, if it has the Bluetooth enabled, phone audio or music player.

To do this, four new icons will be displayed just below the name of our terminal in the Your Phone application. This will allow us to see the status of these settings, but in addition, we can also modify them. Yes, from there we can change these settings of our Android mobile without having to remove the mobile from the pocket or where we have it stored. Undoubtedly, great news for those who do not want to miss everything that comes to their smartphone when they work on the PC, but who do not want to have to be aware of the mobile all the time either.

These new features would already be in testing in version V1.21012.195.0, so they could very soon reach Windows 10 and be able to enjoy them.
