[Auto] BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX launched in India at Rs 56.50 lakh

Expanding the X3 range in India, BMW today launched the new X3 xDrive30i SportX here at an introductory price of Rs 56.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The luxury automobile manufacturer has announced benefits up to Rs 1.50 lakh for the customers who book the new BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX through the BMW Online Shop till February 28.

Apart from the new X3 xDrive30i SportX variant, the BMW X3 range has X3 xDrive30i Luxury Line and X3 xDrive20d Luxury Line trims. Below are their prices (ex-showroom).

~ X3 xDrive30i SportX - Rs 56.50 lakh
~ X3 xDrive30i Luxury Line - Rs 61.80 lakh
~ X3 xDrive20d Luxury Line - Rs 62.50 lakh

The BMW X3 xDrive30i employs a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that develops 252hp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. The petrol engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic sport transmission that sends power to all the four wheels. The X3 xDrive30i, be it SportX or Luxury Line, can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.3 seconds. The BMW X3 xDrive20d uses a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that belts out 190hp of maximum power and 400Nm of peak twisting force. The diesel engine is offered with an 8-speed automatic Steptronic transmission. Equipped with an all-wheel-drive system, the X3 xDrive20d can touch 100kmph from standstill in 8 seconds.

The new BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX comes with features like the signature double kidney grille, LED headlamps, dual exhaust pipes, automatic tailgate and 18-inch alloy wheels. The customers can choose from four different exterior colour options -- Mineral White, Sophisto Grey, Black Sapphire and Phytonic Blue.

While the X3 xDrive30i Luxury Line boasts of the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, the new xDrive30i SportX gets the BMW Live Cockpit Plus that offers features like an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, 3D Navigation and a 5.1-inch digital instrument cluster with analogue speedo and tacho. Among the other bells and whistles inside the cabin are electrically-adjustable driver and passenger seats, 3-zone automatic AC, parking assistant with rearview camera, HI-FI Surround Sound system, auto start-stop, ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof. The upholstery options include Sensatec Canberra Beige and Sensatec Black.

So far as the safety features are concerned, the BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX is equipped with six airbags, attentiveness assistance, dynamic stability control with cornering brake control, electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor and Isofix child seat mounting.
