State-of-the-art assistance systems make the driving experience even safer. As its design reveals at first glance, the Audi Q2 is a robust and sporty-looking SUV. At the same time it is powerful and sleek, the lines of the body give it an image that conveys security. The compact SUV measures 4.21 meters in length, 17 millimeters more than before. The wheelbase of 2.60 meters, the width of 1.79 meters and the height of 1.54 meters remain the same. The designers have now applied the polygonal motifs that already characterized the front and the line of the shoulders to the back. The fender features a diffuser insert that includes large five-sided polygons. The front end also receives modifications, with the surfaces under the headlights emerging in a more striking way. The large integrated air intakes, which are also pentagonal, provide greater expressiveness, especially in the Sport version. The octagonal Singleframe grille, where the polygonal motifs appear again, slightly reduces its height, which gives a greater feeling of width at the front. The range of colors for the bodywork of the new Audi Q2 includes five new options: apple green –new for the brand–, Manhattan gray, Navarra blue, arrow gray and turbo blue. The rear pillars (blades) can be painted in body color or in Manhattan gray, matt platinum gray, foil silver, selenite silver or gloss black. Audi offers the Dynamic, Select and Sport versions; in addition to the S Line package available for the Sport version. Reference technology in the segment: Matrix LED headlights Even in the basic version, the new Q2 features LED headlights as standard and can optionally equip the Matrix LED headlights. Seven individual LEDs integrated into a shared module produce an intelligently controlled high intensity beam of light, which always illuminates the road as clearly as possible without dazzling other users. Ten light-emitting diodes installed behind the rhomboid-shaped optics generate daylight, while seven additional LEDs are associated with the dynamic indicators. Audi offers a version with LED technology for the taillights. If Matrix LED headlights are equipped, dynamic rear indicators are standard. When the car is closed and opened, both the headlights and the rear light clusters reproduce a light sequence. TFSI engine for the Q2 The compact SUV is launched on the market with a powerful gasoline engine: the 1.4 TFSI that powers the Q2 35 TFSI, has a power of 150 hp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.8 seconds and its maximum speed is 213 km / h, equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Comfortable and spacious: the interior The interior of the Audi Q2 offers space for five passengers, who can easily access and sit in an elevated position. The optional panoramic roof increases the interior brightness; tinted windows, also optional, offer greater privacy in the rear seats. The luggage compartment capacity is 405 liters, which expands to 1,050 liters when the rear seat backs are folded down. As an option, it can be equipped with an electric trunk. The interior design of the SUV reflects the taut lines of the body, with new shapes for the air conditioning vents and the selector switch for the automatic transmission. Seat offer In the Dynamic version, the standard seats are available with fabric upholstery or a combination of leather and imitation leather can be chosen as an option. For the Select version, standard seats with a combination of leather and imitation leather are offered as standard, the Sport version includes sports seats. The seat upholstery is generally black. As standard, it is equipped with analog instrumentation with a color screen and a 17.8 cm (7-inch) color display. The top-of-the-range option is the 31.2-cm (12.3-inch) Audi virtual cockpit featuring a 21-cm (8.3-inch) screen and the Audi smartphone interface, available in the Connectivity Package. It is operated via the MMI touch rotary control located on the center console or through the voice control system, which recognizes natural language. Optional hardware elements such as the Audi smartphone interface or the Audi phone box, which connect mobile phones directly to the vehicle, complete the infotainment offering. The Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System audio system, with 14 speakers and a power of 705 watts, is unique in the compact SUV segment. More safety and comfort on the road: driver assistance systems Audi offers numerous driver assistance systems for the new Q2 such as cruise control as standard, the optional Audi pre sense front, which uses radar to monitor what is happening in front of the car and can warn of impending collisions with other vehicles , pedestrians or cyclists, the Audi parking system plus, the rear camera, among others. Progressive steering as standard: the running gear The Audi Q2 is a sporty compact SUV.
